Unfortunately, in court, the guy would not get off easy. After he disengaged from and she fell on the floor, he had the opportunity to leave and did not. Not saying the girl is right. However, that's just how a judge could, and may, spin it. The man is supposed to avoid the fight entirely. Again, not saying it's right. Just how the law works atm.
