Even though they live longer? By every feminist metric where "equality" doesn't mean equal treatment, women should have to work until they're 75 so that men and women get an "equal" number of retired years.

This headline is crap. The feminists did not argue that equality means superior treatment for women.

The actual situation is that there are women who planned to retire at 60 for all of their working life, are currently 58 years old and expecting to have under 2 years left to go, and then suddenly get to hear "surprise! it's actually 7 years now."

This is kind of unfair to them, as they were promised one thing and given another without much warning. This is why changes like these are typically announced well ahead of time, and/or have a gradual change implemented (58 year olds only have to go to 61, 55 year olds to 62, 50 year olds to 64, etc.)
