Married for 18 years, wife worked about half of that time full-time and a couple more years part-time. I have an associates degree she has a bachelors degree and a social work license.

I happen to have a higher paying job, she’s probably under employed when evaluated honestly. She is currently working.

Makes about half what I do, works a teachers schedule and takes summers off (but still being paid).

A lot teachers work during the summer to supplement their income, she does not.

How does a judge usually rule in regards to alimony in cases like this?
