Sound like their mother have the ability to GPS their children once the kid spends time with you. Plus, spoil the kids. You’re the father, you’re allowed to confiscate the phone, and they will turn against you. You need to set up boundaries between you and the children. That’s sucks that you and the children’s mother won’t communicate with you. My stbx does that to me the same thing. I have no problem communicating with my stbx, but she doesn’t. She still uses our children to communicate with me. Plus, she refuses to text, call, or video message to discuss over kids' plan. She rather does it in person.

Meh. Sounds like you’re gonna punish your daughter for her mother’s behavior. I’d take this as an opportunity to teach her good digital responsibility rather than to let her mom have all of that access. Pandora is out of the Box, channel it because you can’t put it back.

My younger stepdaughter’s father did the same thing. We provided her a phone, he kept sending one, we took it when she arrived and gave it back when she left. Ended up they told her not to allow us to take it, and she was using it to video myself and my now ex wife without our knowledge. I had to call a sheriff to confiscate it the last time at 13 the child told me she would fight me over it. 6 months later she filed a police report that I hit her.

I pled to lesser, and filed for divorce, marriage was already bad, but after having 5 attorneys tell me I better be glad she didn’t say worse; I removed myself from the situation.

If she's in your home you have to right to set the rules over phone usage.
