served my ex papers in feb this year

we have a daughter together shes just turned 1

her lawyer is a sarcastic loud mouth , young guy ...

our first mediation they cancelled second one they cancelled 3rd one we couldnt mediate

during the year i was only allowed to see my baby on weekends whenever she felt

so basically at whatever time she deemed reasonable and then started cancelling every other weekend and subsituted those days with weekdays where she gets home extremly late around 8 ish

our daughter goes to sleep around 9/9:30 she basically broke it down to where i would spend the least amount of quality time w her , and on top of that made me wear a mask with her , so no bond was being formed w me bc she rarely saw my face.whenever i did spend time w her i made sure it was quality time helping her talk , reading to her , helping her movement , crawling then standing up , i printed a milestones chart.

during all this my attorney filed for emergency child custody , i was never allowed to leave w her , i was confined her mothers home for the duration of my visits while wearing a mask.

the emergency custody hearing was set for july ( apparently everything thru the courts here in miami arebacked up for months meanwhile both our lawyers are making a killing ... so july comes around they cancelled the hearing , they wanted us to go thru mediation first (why?) meditation came around she would not budge from me visiting her at her home , zero custody , we file another emergency custody hearing( in person ) they cancelled her attorney couldnt make it , so that had to do it thru zoom , their internet was not working , ok so we re-scheduled the hearing for yesterday ,

two hours before the hearing her attorney files a motion of continuance , she woke up with covid and his whole office also wok up "sick" .. all of a sudden ... the judge denies their cancelllation , im happy

i get to the court and it turns out instead of a full hearing she going to get something filed real quick so i can see my daughter during the holdays , by this time my last visit with her was oct 9th i was not allowed to see my daughter since. the middle we came to was she take my daughter to my parents house the next two weekends for 4 hours each day thats it.

we have another mediation scehduled for next week , my whole thing is whyyyyyyy were not going to get to a reasonable agreement , she wont even let me pick up my own daughter for 4 hours.

im 43 , zero criminal history , own my place , my daughter has her own room in my condo

ive worked at my job for 19 years , no violent history , our marriage lasted 9 month... weve been seperated more than we been together

so now i have to sit thru another mediation and pay the lady 200 an hour to reach zero agreement again , and re-file another custody hearing which will now be in feb 2023 the earliest.

im positive her attorney wants to milk this till forever ... but holy shit.

sorry i just needed to vent

this has all taken an incredible toll

and everyone is like stand your ground and be patient.

meanwhile my savings are gone , lawyers fees + child support

also her attorney tried to settle out of court , via me giving up my parental rights.

what type of person would want their childs father to give up theirparental rights??
