I am in NC, we have a similar law. Few people here use it. Realistically .... all is does it give you a way to persecute your former partner. It is best to just move on with your life.

You will spend more money on trying to prove she was a home wrecker from your lawsuit than you will get out of it.

Just save your money and move on.

It used to be that suing for alienation of affection was a more viable tort in many jurisdictions. I don't know MS law, but if it allows for the defendant to request a jury trial, I imagine it would only be seen as a nuisance claim. I probably wouldn't take the case (at least on contingency; if you wanted to pay a wildly inflated hourly I don't want to mess with this hourly fee, then sure).

Litigation should be a last effort. It is almost never productive. It is extremely expensive, emotionally taxing, and, unless the homewrecker is loaded, probably a fruitless pursuit.
