Another example of government controlling people’s lives. Think about it for a second. Easier to get a driver’s license than a marriage license; cost about the same. At least you have learner’s permit and have to pass a test to drive.

The system is systematically set up for women. This has been going on since the 50s... However, here in Texas, I was able to avoid paying alimony because she was educated. She had a bachelor and master degree and worked maybe 2 out of the 16 yrs married. It was my fault that I didn't make her work. Honestly, why should husbands make a wife work? She got into the entitlement phase. One thing for certain, out of the 16 years married, is that she now has to work until she's eligible for either retirement from her new employment or reach the age for social security. My experience is that she will go for social security. Either way, it's the bed she made, and dammit she's lying in it. Keep your head up, brother.
