Will my lawyer be able to impute my wife to be working 40 hours per week like a normal working parent. For the last half of our marriage, she has found every excuse known to man to avoid working and none of them have a shred of merit. I want her to experience having to spend each and every day at work like I do. I’d love to be able to do whatever I want all day long and enjoy time with my kids the minute they are done school. I spend have of my emotional energy trying to find ways to move money around to try and pay bills and she going haywire when I’m telling her I want her to return to work. We spend much more than I make in the current situation and when we split households I simply cannot fathom how two places can be paid for on just my income.
