So my wife and I are going through a divorce. Things are getting quite a bit ugly. We are at the stage where both of us have lawyers and my lawyer sent a proposal to her which she promptly said no to.

But then I get an interesting txt from the wife this morning. Saying that her boyfriend got served papers and asking me why I had my lawyer do this. I didn't have any idea this was happening and frankly I have no clue as to whether or not she's even telling the truth at this point or trying to make me go insane.

I just was curious is it normal for the boyfriend to be served papers?
