You won’t talk to me, so I’ll just write it here:

  • you could have forgiven me, and accepted that people change, but you didn’t
  • you could have given me the one thing I wanted in life, but you couldn’t
  • you could have given me the chance to fix things and save our family, but you wouldn’t.

So, tonight I’m going to take our kids for dinner and have a wonderful time, and you can do what you want. You could join us but you won’t. You could have some wine and laugh with me but you won’t.

Then I won’t see them again for 2 days. I won’t know what they’re doing. I won’t make them breakfast. I won’t put them to bed. Because you banished me.

I’m going to get on. I’m going to be ok. After 2 years of wanting to die, I’m back. I’m going to make a success of this, and I hope you do too.

But I’ll never forgive you for depriving me of my children, for not forgiving me, for not giving me my family back. They’re my children too, and I never wanted to leave them.

Your husband, with all his flaws and failings. X
