I just found out from wife that she is lesbian and our marriage is over. Initially she tried to make it sound like it was my fault and that I was always mad and negative. That was until I actually sat down with her and asked what was really going on. She is the breadwinner and has been for about 7 years of our 10 year marriage. She's telling me that she doesn't want a divorce and that I can live in our house just in a different room like a roommate. We so have a preteen child where for the last 7 years I have been the stay at home parent. I had 1 part time job throughout the last 7 years but it hardly paid over $1k per season. I just need some advice on how to protect myself.
