Today marks the actual beginning to the end of our marriage. I signed my portion of the separation agreement and had it submitted. A few minutes later my soon to be ex started texting me and was attempting to belittle me. I being dumb took the bait and gave it right back. I knew I shouldn't have but let it get the best of me. After back and forth for 30 minutes it finally dies down. But the damage is done, can't take anything back. I always felt sorry for us and myself yet friends and family tried to convince me what a POS she is but I put it away. After these messages I finally realized how messed up she is and quite frankly so ready for it to end. The mental torture has reached its limit. I just hope it doesn't take longer than 6 months for the final decree.
