Well, my ex is talking about "us" meaning her and the child, as I am a foreigner (you may call us, we go outside, we are sleepy etc.). I told her repeatedly to not use this expression since my son is too small to speak so she cannot say they are one person. Really disrespectful (but not the first time for me)

Haha I call her out every time. I’m ridiculously hard lined about this one, but really it’s just a boundary. Total bullshit. Why is shit like this so common?

I’ll add: the tactic I have used is to call her out but also disengage until I’m treated with respect. I actually State this, and then wait for results. We are dealing with people who manipulate others, then when you don’t get manipulated because you’re the ex husband that is done with this human, and you’re privy to the tactics, then they get butt hurt and say “I know what’s right for MY daughter.” So, the thing is you have already “won” by not getting manipulated.

My lawyer asked my ex on the stand why we shouldn't adopt her parenting plan but reverse it so that she got one weekend a month and I got primary. Her response was, "Well, they're my kids so I should get them more."

Judge nailed her to the wall for that and gave her temp 50/50 and no child support. Told her to get it out of her head that they are more hers than mine.

Get over it. I talked to my siblings about our parents and say my mom or my dad and I’m old enough to know they are OUR parents.

Get your time. One word isn’t changing what’s going. I always say my kids because 99% of the time I’m talking to someone who isn’t their parent.
