Is it just me or are women who criticize men for being “toxic” and “offensive” actually way more hateful and unforgiving than the men they’re talking about? They’re just using their self-proclaimed status as “victims” to project their constant stream of negativity on people who haven’t done anything to them. The men that they think are bad are just average people living their lives - NOT criminals, NOT actively doing anything immoral - while the women who detest them spend their days living in a bubble. When men talk about stuff that they think is dumb, most of the time, they don’t even sound hateful, bigoted, or targeting. When women talk about how they feel about men, phrases like “they’re useless”, “we should just lock them up so they’d understand how we feel”, “I wish they’d just drop dead” suddenly become way more common. It’s pretty obvious what comes across as ultimately more hateful.

I posted about this over on uh, politicalcompassmemes when this study was new and most people across the political aisle were recognizing it as a problem. Though there were some who bent waaaaay over backwards to try and rationalize that it was acceptable sexism.

I would love to share this with the left wing community honestly. I would love see how they would propose addressing this because they are already losing support from men and they have a significantly larger support from young women.

You would have to first prove that women shift their attitudes more positive towards men as they age as otherwise this would be rejected as generational difference and "younger generation better understanding how bad men are".
You would have to then prove that shift in women's attitudes has nothing to the with how much of a real danger men are towards a woman of a given age because otherwise this would get rejected as younger women being in more danger of getting raped or whatever (skipping the fact that feeling unsafe is not the same as being unsafe).
Finally you would have to perform an analysis which would show that this change in attitude is not related to women "overcoming their traumas caused by men".
And once you do all that you would have convinced some of them to do something but in case of vocal minority you would have only distilled their misandry because it turns out that just like racism it is not grounded in logic.
