So many of the claims made by TRP are based on the notion that all of human connection can be described in tidy theories and conquered with enough techniques.

Human connection is too vast and fuzzy for anything like this. These young men are afraid of the pain and humiliation that inevitably comes with participating in society and are trying to cope with that pain by imposing their own hard sense of order on the whole world.

Some women age beautifully and gracefully, others cling to youth, men also fall into both categories. Both men and women will be attracted to people their own age while others will pursue youth in their partners and others will be attracted to maturity.

Only those who view relationships as a game to be won will be so concerned with surface values like youth, status, etc.

It’s wild bullshit. Beauty standards are cultural constructs, and culture is an ever changing thing. Some of it is biological rooted, like appraisal for symmetry, but RP’s biological dismorphist point is, as usual, busted.

Same goes for the whole sexual market value thing. I don’t mind modelling dating as a market, it can be useful, but one has to keep in mind that the criterion vary A LOT per individuals, as well as over time through cultural shifts, so any biological essential definition of those criterion is also ultimately busted.

Men can look better with age, but I see evidence of it being the opposite. It only applys if you are fit, healthy, eat right, basically the top 5%. I've noticed this summer in Texas that men are hitting the wall here faster than woman.

I totally disagree with this idea of red-pillers that men age better.

If men age better than women, how come an average looking 40 year old woman still get 10x more hookup offers on dating sites than an average looking 40 year old man.

Truth is, most women can get laid very easily upto retirement age if they take reasonable care of themselves.

Both men and women age. Being a certain gender doesn't guarantee you're going to age better than the other. Whether or not you age well is determined by lifestyle (exercise, alcohol, food, stress, pollution, sun avoidance, etc), genetic (fat cells underneath skin, thickness of the dermis, melanin, etc), and if you have resources for cosmetics treatment and procedures. (laser, botox, fillers, face lift, etc)

I feel like some of this comes from the idea for women that youthfulness = beauty. This isn't so much the case for men, you hear folks swoon over your George Clooneys and your Liam Neesons who are "daddy hot", but the same love for older ladies doesn't seem as common outside of MILF porn unfortunately. For the men, they age into "silver foxes" and "sugar daddies", and the age almost enhances the sexiness. I do wish people could see the same in women instead of acting like any women with wrinkles or grey hair are used up old hags.

K , lemme tell you I have a family member who was married , had a kid, her husband had an affair so they ended up divorcing this was when she was in her young 30s. She continuously has long term relationships since that point, and had her pick of men, and high quality men who were kind etc. She never was without a partner, and found all these partners in real life not dating apps. At around 50 or so she finally found the one (he is 5-6 years younger), and they got married and have been happy ever since.

SoOoOooOoo....... yeah its bull. I think the hard part as you get older is finding quality partners, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

If men stay fit, eat well, you have a lot of options. I'm 36 and picking up for me is pretty easy. But the key word here being If. Most men are fat, eat shit, etc. I used to think women hit the wall, western woman can hit the wall early but for men I think its' worse now.

This article missed many important point. when they talk about this dynamic of men age like wine and women age like milk , the range of age we are talking about us not 60. It's between thirties and mid to late forties. And it's Not about looks alone but about how men at that age got their shit together and mature and potentially manly enough which allows them to have way higher value than their female peers who have their beauty already fading. So this article Brought nothing interesting to the matter , they focused on anecdotes and stars but mgtows and trper are not focusing on this.And by the way even if a man loses his looks but he still got the resources he'll always get to date younger hotter women.

Personally, I don't like old women and don't care about how old women think. By old, I mean after 23.

I lose interest instantly if I find out the girl is a graduate student or graduated undergraduate. I hardly want to reply to these women when they texted me even if they are sometimes very attractive.

Anyway, if you find old women attractive, that's fine. But I don't like them and I don't care if others find them attractive. Just my personal preference.
