As a result of my divorce and the insta 50 50 thing, ive really gotten extreme in my thoughts about how royally screwed women are bc we chose to keep having kids without getting anything for it.

We put our bodies through 10 months of, at best, inconvenience but often absolute hell. Then another year of chemically altered brain and body impacts...some of which never resolve.

Read that again - your body never fully recovers from pregnancy.

And during that time we are usuallly put in hold mode as to our careers whether we want that or not.

And then when your partner decides you arent as much fun with that 3 year old and wants a divorce to ride off with his howorker......court says 50/50 kid, assets, etc.

How was the use of my body valued? How was the trauma to my body valued? How was the sacrifice i made in career and salary advancement valued? It wasnt.

Once my daughter is in college, im getting my third degree.

And spending my lonely cat lady years writing prenups that put a value on those things ...and eventually ending up in the SC to defend the legality of prenups that value womens bodies and sacrifices economically.

Like excuse me sir but most abortions are only allowed in a majority of the United States when they're 12 weeks or younger in utero. The likelihood of finding out the gender accurately is extremely low (unless you do a blood test but the best way is an anatomy scan which is typically between 16 and 20 weeks) and why assume it's a son? Total martyrdom move.

I’ve been spending some time arguing on a certain debate subreddit about abortion, and wrote a satirical post with a hypothetical solution to hold men responsible for their reckless inseminating, to point out the hypocrisy in the PL movement.

And boy did people get angry about it. I even got crossposted to a “men’s rights” sub where a significant number of men completely missed the point
