Beware of#himpathy: when a man only cares about women's issues as it relates to women in his life (wife, mother, daughter,etc.) Ex: His daughter is part "him" and therefore suddenly she counts in a way no other woman did before/ learned empathy when having a daughter/etc.

Uh, isn’t that just how men are though? Very few have empathy because they truly put themselves into women’s shoes. Most just feel “empathy” because they think about their sister, mom, daughter, etc. Their feelings of “empathy” always have to be connected to someone who is a part of their lives, which now they make it about THEM. Ultimately it’s all connected to their egos, as opposed to just freely feeling empathy for another human being.

OP I think you're using the term "himpathy" incorrectly here. Himpathy refers to the excessive sympathy men and particularly male sexual predators receive. It has nothing to do with men only caring about women who they get something from or feel they have possession over but we need a term for that too. 🤔
