I’m conflicted. While I see others appreciate this, I’m a bit put off by it. Just like an abuser, it seems like the bad guys have pressured the mods to say yes.

We don’t have a lot of women only spaces on Reddit and now men get a one day pass here? MGTOW or any _cel wouldn’t give women a pass, not that we brigade them or want to.

I hope the mods reconsider. I appreciate ALL the hard work you do as I see notifications that a comment I made has a reply, but when I check it, it’s not there. :) This just feels abusive and that the boys who make the most noise are getting their way. This kind of reinforces their behavior, even if they will be downvoted.

We know how they feel about us, we see it in other threads and DMs. I ask the mods to reconsider and not allow abusive boys a day pass.

I’m happy to see this. The reason the manosphere doesn’t offer us the same courtesy (mentioned above) is because a) it’s easy to poke holes in their strategy, to where we can just say ok, it’s proven that our risk in sex is greater, because of body and mind differences. Yes, a woman might treat you like shit in the long run, so might a man to us, that’s the risk. But in the beginning, we expect a risky investment that matches our own. So, court us, and remain decent, or we deny you the sex. We’ll talk sense. and b) And that enrages them. Triggered so hard they talk about killing us, etc. If this sub was that out of control? We’d do well to not give them an opportunity to talk either.

But, by and large we don’t talk like barbarians here (a mod told me that “kill all men” and that ilk is not looked on favorably). We’re shaming men for bad behavior, but we do implore them/hold out hope for them to be better. Maybe not all, but many of us do express desire to treat a man well, once he’s proven to be a suitable partner. And if we do get a reasonable argument from a man, for one day in one thread, at least some of us will give it some thought....but I’m guessing (and I think the mods are too) that it’s more just going to be toxic trolling, as opposed to any sort of willingness to truly engage with us (or it will unintentionally spiral into violent speech if they feel they’re losing). And I feel pretty confident we can handle senseless tantrums- we don’t like them in our space, but we can competently manage it in one thread, because at the end of the day, we’re used to men finding their way into the little corners we have anyway.

So. That’s why I think the mods here are doing this. 2 questions though- 1) will we be allowed to post there too? If, to my shock, there is any point I might give credence to, I would consider responding. Obviously, to a bunch of bullshit (more what I expect, based on what I’ve seen/been DM’d), my comments would be directed to the other women here watching the shitshow- I’m not going to engage with a man who has lost control and is throwing a fit, or one who thinks it’s fun to fantasize out loud about abusing us. 2) If we are allowed there, are the mods setting guidelines in terms of our own engagement? i.e. I think it’s worth mentioning that it’s a colossal waste of time to get in the mud with a guy who’s just dropped in to take a shit on us, and isn’t even trying to contribute anything of substance.

I just want to say thank you to all the mods keeping us safe, sane and not letting subhumen waste our lives. We can block them in real life from our existence and vagina, but not here. I also think that's very clever what you're doing. I wish this cvould diminish the hate you get, but this all sub was created because of how men are, that tells you everything.

I mean if you want to give the deadbeats a place to project their self-hate go for it. It's all un-original content anyway, so I'm not sure what mods feel they have been protecting us from..? It also seems counterproductive to have a forum separate from the rest of the neckbeards and then be like, "Let's invite the losers and waste your time because these guys hate themselves and their lives have no meaning pity them."

As a guy I’m only on this subreddit for the laughs and I think majority of others guys are too. So I wouldn’t get your hopes up with your expectations. All g my g. ;)

Edit 2: Fair point, I am 16 and am into drugs but you gotta be more specific there, Im not a “druggie” instead I use psychedelic substances to further my education and view on the world, highly recommend it. I think if you did it you would realise you need to grow up and stop making fun of half the population.
