He was probably already seeing this girl when with you, or at least already had his sights on her. Or it could just be the next woman he met. Yes lvm do move on this quickly. They're not even looking for a real person they're looking for an object to place in the girlfriend box. These guys will use any woman for however much free labor they can get for as long as they can get it simply because they can.

This. Listen to this
He’s not a good person. A good person would not move on 24 hours later lol

Whatever he is doing should not be your concern girl. Most men are losers what they do, why they do, don't waste your energy trying to figure them out. Focus on yourself girl. He's old news.

Yes, they always have someone lined up or move on quickly. For men, life is winter and women are winter coats.

Stop torturing yourself. It’s hard but you need to block him and move on, for your own good. You will get there, it will take longer if you dwell on the past.
If he doesn’t care (anymore), why should you?

That sucks. I think one thing to remember is that most people try to make their lives seem better than they actually are on social media. Even if they look happy and close in the photo, they might be nearly strangers or having friction behind closed doors. He probably just wants to feel like he’s “winning” the break-up. It’s immature. Best to unfollow him and work on leveling up!

He was probably cheating on you and needed to find a cop out, hence the “I’m not fit for a relationship”. Bullet dodged, block him on IG.

Men ALWAYS move on fast. They don't take time to think about themselves and improve themselves, because their penises will explode or something if they don't get laid.
Don't concern yourself. Block him on insta, stop snooping, and work on yourself.

Block block block. Unfortunately yes chances are he may have been cheating at least emotionally, but was too much of a coward to break up with you. That’s what happened to me. Give yourself ample time to process but block both of them so you won’t be tempted to investigate.

Anyone who moves on that quickly is doing it for the wrong reasons. He was right and obviously isn’t fit for a relationship but instead of taking stock of himself and growing and learning he moved onto the next girl to use and abuse. Or he used that as an excuse to not have to put any effort into your relationship, or to move over to the girl he was already seeing on the side. No matter how you slice it he is trash.
He will do the exact same things to the new girl he did to you. Count yourself lucky. It’s normal to mourn a relationship (even a terrible one) and take some time to reflect and care for yourself, which is what you’re doing. Don’t compare yourself to some loser LVM. He isn’t happy, I guarantee you that.

I've seen quite a few articles in men's magazines talk about how they try really hard to seem tough and over it right away and it usually hits them months later, by which time the ex gf is already truly over him while he pines for her. Regardless, take care of yourself, including talking about it obsessively with your close friends if you need to, and trust that you will be happy someday that you got rid of him.

You are probably right that OPs question might be a better fit for AskFDS, but your answer is not helpful at all.

Yes they do because women are easily replaced in their minds.

When I was 24 years old I was in a LDR with a man (maybe 29?) who was DEFINITELY establishing a connection with another women whilst with me. BUT! He was also doing the same with ME to the poor woman he was seeing prior to me. When we were together, we both slowly faded and I never received a proper break-up conversation, nor did I give one due to “What if?” I wasted my time chasing someone who wasn’t available. If you think hard, you may notice that your ex was also unavailable. You may have been too blind to see at the time. It’s a pattern that all unavailable’s repeat, men and women. It’s much easier to lean on a warm body than it is to work on themselves.

Yes, and it says everything about men and nothing about you. They can’t seem to get by without us. My father in law, by all accounts a devoted husband, was on multiple dating websites just 3 months after his wife of 50 years died. He became obsessed with one woman right away and has pursued her relentlessly ever since, with his dead wife’s clothes still hanging in the closet and her ashes waiting to be spread. They run from their emotions by replacing us.
