Don’t be a fan or groupie.

Don’t follow him on social media until he has demonstrated enough of an investment to you.

Even then, until he demonstrates commitment, don’t interact with his content. Don’t even view it.

Don’t text first under any circumstance. Even if you left his last message on read. If he didn’t give you something worth responding to, let him try again. If a guy really wants you, a couple double texts won’t be too much for him.

Never be the one to suggest a plan or date.

You can be impressed by what they do, but never let them know it or the extent of it.

Also, don’t call them by their nicknames. This is a weird tip but it works. Let’s say you’re dating a guy named Daniel that goes by Dan. Well, until he proves his worth he is Daniel to you. It’s a weird power move that seems to really work with guys that use nicknames. If he asks why you keep calling him Daniel, it literally doesn’t matter what you say back. If a guy thinks you’re hot he will let you call him whatever you want.

Keep them on a government name basis when you speak to them. When you speak of them, don’t use their name. Come up with a nickname to use with your friends so you don’t get too attached to the idea of him.

Don’t save their phone number unless they have proven they plan on sticking around for awhile.

These guys have enough PickMes in their life doing the opposite of these things, it seems counter intuitive but the less you value them the more they value you.

Edit: I’ll give you an example how this works. When I meet guys that are famous (athletes or musicians) I usually have no idea they’re famous. Or, I do but I’m not into that sport or genre of music. So I act like they’re just another man, like I don’t know or care that they are who they are. It drives them mad.

I met a MLB player that lived in my old building 2 years ago. At the time I met him he just won the World Series. I had no idea who the hell he was. Found out after a convo I had with him where I told him baseball sucked then asked him what he did only to find out it was baseball. Then googled his name and realized he was a pro.

Ran into him a few months ago, and he actually remembered me. Why? “You’re the hot neighbor I had who didn’t know who I was.” I doubt the PickMeshas that fan girl over him regularly would stand out like that years later.
