There's nothing wrong with wanting/buying a gaming PC, both my partner and I have our own, but for $8k and without consulting your partner??? Both of our amazing gaming PCs and set ups were less than 5k combined!! The pressure to marry someone you don't share interests with and barely talk to just to be a married woman is so gross and sad.

From the moment that they disagreed on getting the PC at all I knew this would be bad lol why be together if you don't even like doing the same things? Then of course because her partner is a child, he went and bought the most expensive shit with all their savings. And she was going to marry this person?? I'm sorry, but he's had to have shown that he is reckless and immature before now. But also no way in fuck would either me or my partner make a purchase that large without talking to each other. Makes me think these people don't even talk and she's just his mommy.

Agreed! Her post is longer than my screenshot and she details bringing him food and water whenever he calls for it from her.... Exactly like a teenage boy. Oh and he's sleeping while she's awake and up all night gaming and NOT doing any of his work from home and might lose his job. It's a whole mess.

This! My gaming PC was less than $3,000, and it's in incredible shape despite most of the parts being from 2012. (I upgraded the graphics card in 2017.) I can't imagine spending $8,000 on a gaming PC. That's absurd.
