I found out my boyfriend had a second instagram on which he followed close to 800 women. I told him it made me feel like crap he was watching these impossibly beautiful women when he wouldn't even follow my own account. I asked him to delete that account and he refused. I haven't spoken to him since.

I’ve always found my imagination was much higher production value than any item of pornography I’ve ever seen. It’s honestly embarrassing the stuff that is porn. But maybe the same effect is at play when men in real life don’t quite live up to what my standard is (it not that high obviously just like normal stuff like being seen as a person and not an object)

I'm so glad I found this sub...its opened my eyes to so much. One of my exes thought nothing of watching porn in front of me, making comments to and flirting with other women, was following porn-y accounts on FB, and I'm pretty sure if he figured out IG, he'd be following Instamodels.

I also had a "situationship" with a guy for a month, who later admitted to looking for women on Instagram and asking them out.

I'm so glad my bf now doesn't use IG...and even still, following Instamodels is an instant dump. These guys would throw a fit if you were following gorgeous half naked male models, yet they feel entitled to do the same?

Had this issue before in my relationship and my partner admitted to a porn addiction later on and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if like half of men have it. It sucks. However I won't settle for less.
