Most men never listen to what women say. They are just going to hear (if at all) and once you've finished they answer whatever they assume you've said.

This is pathetic. It's supposed to be flattering, he's calling her beautiful which is the best thing a woman can hope to hear, of course. Why the outrage, then?

I hate that I am not even really shocked by this... I can’t figure out, is it laziness? Ignorance? I see it but at the same time I feel like I am missing something! I realize there are different levels of LVM some, ok most, are somewhere on the scale... but I just can’t believe that “getting off” is the only driving force here! Thoughts?

It’s sickening! This kind of behavior is rampant online, I see it almost every day. I follow the posts of an internet celebrity, and all her comments sections are like this. Her posts are 50% esoteric philosophy and 50% advertising her line of beauty products and workshops, and she often has really interesting things to say, but each post is accompanied by a picture of her and 99.9% of the comments are just LVMs telling her she’s beautiful. Maybe one or two people comment having actually read what she wrote, and those are usually women.

So much worse to see it on a post about someone who’s missing. He doesn’t even realize it’s not the same woman in the profile picture!
