This shit is wild. When my friends leave after visiting my home, I literally watch them from my porch until they pull out of my driveway and I live in a quiet suburban area. And when I go visit them at their apartment complexes, they walk me to my car (I drop them off at the entrance) to make sure I’m fine as well.

Don’t accept less from men than you would from your girlfriends.

I reached that point last year and it was the best feeling in the world. Once you're done with lack of consideration, half-assed affection and low value things, you can never go back. The one thing I'm attracted to now is a man's ability to be loving and caring, I don't care if we're into all the same things, what they promise me, if they're my physical ideal, successful... if they don't have that, I'm not interested.

I often feel uncomfortable when a guy friend/coworker tries to walk me to my cars. It feels romantic & I often try to turn it down in case they think it means something. I do the same if they try to stand on the outside walking on the street. Am I being stubborn? I just don’t want mixed messages. What do you think?

I have a driver, so technically I am always safe. But my partner still walks me to the car. He likes to joke that I tend to get myself in troubles, so it's better to be protected from 2 sides. This is HV behaviour.
