I used tinder for 3 years on & off but I realized even if the guy is generally considered a good guy and not a fuck boy those guys don’t have any intentions for anything serious. Whether the guy is a fuckboy or not, most of them compartmentalize tinder girls has low value and don’t even put effort. It’s like how men enjoy going to stripper club and find them beautiful but would be reluctant to consider something serious with them. I went on dates with guys from 30-50s who were students, doctor, investor startup founder but let’s say 99% think like this. It doesn’t matter if a guy is broke or rich. Sometimes I use it to get free meals but then I realized it’s not worth my time.

Also the worst case than fuckboy is when a guy is using tinder after his breakup. High-chance that he’s going to get back with his ex at any given moment.

They’re just looking for quick fun. Whether they’re old or young.

It’s sad that I don’t live in social setting where I encounter many guys as my work is mostly female dominated and I don’t know many guys in nyc to begin with.

Looking back, I enjoyed encounter with cute guys but it didn’t lead to anywhere. I’ve met one guy for relationship which later turned out to be disaster. And then other guy who’s in late 40s whom I went to 5 dates in total but wanted relationship.

Other than that most guys just ask me to come to their place which I agree and then ghost on them or sent them a call girl once.
