I needed to read this lmfao, this guy who I was seeing who I thought was a HVM told me he didn’t have time right now for a relationship because he needs to focus on finishing law school strong (EVEN THOUGH HE SPENT MONTHS WOOING ME AND ASKING ME TO MOVE WITH HIM). Would like to add that even when you date a rich guy 99% of the time they are LV and secretly hate/ resent you for being with them due to their own insecurities (thinking that you only want their money) so every outing they pay for turns into "my insert/female friend/mother/sister says you only take advantage of me!!!
Bonus points if the expensive activity was his idea and he knew you couldn't afford it.

So he's from one of the wealthiest families in my state and he's not shy at all about making it known. He told me on our first date.
Every time we go somewhere (I live in a smallish city) people who know him literally kiss his ass for no reason- he is always awkward and plays up the nerdy doctor card.
We were leaving dinner, walking through the stairway in the parking garage and as he opened the door for me another woman (who looked kinda like me I might add) comes up right behind me and squeals with excitement about seeing him, saying "omg I wish you didn't have to see me like this with no makeup!" laughing it up flirting with him and I'm just standing there- and she's like what did you guys do tonight??? He tries to play it off saying we just "got pizza" even though we went to an upscale Italian restaurant.
