Women "valued" their fertility because they'll get abused and kicked out if they can't conceive a kid or a son. Just look at China and India, husband abuse, kill or divorce wife who can't conceive or only have daughters. Know your history and facts right.

I wasnt ready to have children when I was just starting with having sex. Whats so bad about exploring your needs, but not wanting to go through hell?! When I found out that I was possibly infertile, while actually wanting to have children, I was about to drown in Depression. There was no Party. I didnt "celebrate" my infertility. I was angry, because the gynecologist didnt tell me about what happens when youre not compatible with the Pill. She never actually cared if I am taking the right pill for 7 years. Thats what Made me angry. Not the use of birth control. Not birth control in general.

I'm livid with rage right now. She's an absolute moron. Does she not realize that procreational abuse is just another abuse tactic that women have to deal with? What if everything is great in your relationship? After having a child your husband slowly becomes a monster and you know you need to get the fuck out? Well biding your time until the women's shelter has some space or you have enough money to move out. In the meantime you have to pretend everything is fine. Stealth birth control is critical in a situation like this.

I kind of get what she is saying BC and abortion are kinda predicated on this idea that a functioning female reproductive system is a disease in need of curing. But the male system? Oh it’s perfect and needs to be protected at all costs. I’m tired of the brunt of contraceptive labor being placed on the woman only. We take drugs with all types of side effects while men complain that condoms make sex not feel as good. We have to go through the procedure of abortion meanwhile men are out here complaining about “not having a say” but birth that child and he won’t be taking care of her and complain about child support. Women need to start valuing their fertility and overall bodies instead of focusing on being holes men can stick their dicks in. Us getting pregnant isn’t really “the problem” their expectation that we be literal sex dolls is. Why is more value not placed on non penetrative sex in order to avoid pregnancy?? Okay I know that’s not exactly what this woman was suggesting and I’m not against contraception but I just think we should talk about how it has warped our view of female bodies and can contribute to the objectification of women.
