Thought I would share these. Most of these quotes were originally said in another language, so some things are lost in translation, but you get the idea.

My aunts on my mom's side are pickmeishas, so these quotes are from aunts all on my dad's side. The great aunt is from my mom's side though.

"The easiest thing to do in the world is to make a man fall in love with you."

My great aunt would say this with disdain, like men are so dumb that getting them to fall in love with you is child's play.

"Men will say anything just to sleep with you, to get attention from you. They will lie, lie and lie to get what they want."

One my aunts told me this repeatedly when I was a teenager.

"Stop looking at that boy. His eyes are too open. He's looking at every girl in this store. Stop looking at your feet and at him, but look around the store, look at who he is looking at."

My uncle's wife (consider her an aunt). She was trying to tell me that he was a fuckboy, and to not fall for him/those like him.

"Look at the way these old men stare at young girls, like they are hungry dogs staring at food. I want to shoot them in the face."

My uncle's wife again.

"Don't show a man that you can do everything. He will come to expect you to do everything, and he won't appreciate anything."

"Don't smile too much. Men will think you're feeble minded."

"Give an ugly boy a chance only if he knows he is ugly and he tries hard to make you happy."

"A marriage is like a house. You can fix a broken window, but you can't fix a house that was badly built."

Adding a few more that I just remembered...

"Two college boys live downstairs. Their girlfriends come over and clean their house. They aren't even engaged. I'm exasperated."

"If you don't know 3 people who know a man, who have known him for years, you don't really know that man."
