This is the truth of being the 'forever girlfriend' and I'm glad she was honest enough to speak up about it. Women in these situations pretend to be happy about not getting married (funny how it's always the guy who makes the decision though) but they're always lying to themselves. Put it this way, if you were a young woman with a man you loved and adored and wanted to spend the rest of your life with, if given the choice, wouldn't you want him to propose?*
I adore Kate. If you watch her in interviews, she's so irreverent and funny. She gives no fucks about having her personality on full display and never dims herself for the sake being appeasing and feminine.
*Obviously doesn't apply to the FDSers here who are against marriage for their own reasons, but those are strong women who will make that clear from Day 1, not lie about being okay with it to appease some scrote.

I hope so too... I remember reading about her excitement on fb when she got into the acting school in the US. You could really feel her joy. And now she's risking getting weighed down by this ugly old dude :( I hope she's happy at least. She literally looks like his pretty accessory sometimes in their pictures and it pisses me off so bad. She should be alone and the star in those pictures. Instead she's there to look pretty by his side...

Yup! I also don't think it's a double standard for women to date younger men while criticizing men who date younger women. Women only resort to dating younger men when high value men their own age are not available. I'm sure Kate Beckinsale would've loved to still be married to her ex-husband Len Wiseman, but he had to go and cheat on her with someone half his age and divorce her. Since most middle aged scrotes are LVMs who chase after younger women, it doesn't make sense for a middle aged woman to be a desperate pickme who fights for LVM attention. In a normal world, a woman would prefer to date a man her own age, but in this fucked up world dominated by LVMs, we must look out for our own best interests and date the best we can. If that means younger men, then so be it.

Edit: I was waiting for the downvotes since I saw someone previously came to her defense cus “if men can do it so can we.” I don’t agree especially since we get on men all the time for doing this shit. In just another thread, everyone was going against another woman for doing the same thing as kate is doing. I’ve dated younger myself but never with that extreme age difference - I stand by if you are old enough to be their parent, it’s a problem. Mentally and emotionally 25 years is SO far apart. She is old enough to be their mother while having a daughter who is almost the same age. I would be mortified if my mom was dating someone who could be my classmate. When someone is a quarter of a century older or younger than you, idc what anyone says, it doesn’t work and it’s not right. We’ve had threads talking about men’s brains don’t fully develop until they’re 25 and yet it’s a pass for a 47 yo woman to be in a whole ass relationship with a 23 year old dude?
