Because they want (pathologically need) to feel superior to someone and historically, we’ve been easy targets. If we’re suddenly equal to them, then they’re inferior to women too, which will just further emasculate and destroy their fragile egos.

As I told someone earlier, men were never taught to respect women until most recently. It was bred and passed down from male to male. Women were not seen as individuals for a long time but property that men owned once they married them. Heck it is even worse for some women of different races, who were caged and displayed for their (men's) pleasure. Now we are demanding respect, and some men cannot fathom such an idea. Respecting someone who has been deemed less than? Some men will never respect us, or never see us as equal. Now it is a choice within their community, and some are okay with choosing to do it. And our safe space they want come into as well, and some women allow it. SMH.

I tell guys on reddit all the time you breathing, having a penis, and lacking communication skills doesn't obligate you to a woman. The issue with males today is this: Previously women had to rely on men for basic needs. The limitation set forth by men place upon women were great. Career, income, sex, decision making, etc were limited for us. Now we need men for nothing (but baby batter and that's if we want kids). Procreation can be done without ever seeing or touching a man. And so now men have to rely on looks, communication skills, ideals, morals, and actual quality of their person. And most don't have a leg to stand on. Women have a choice, and men are pissed most women wouldn't choose them. So they b- about how women don't want them, when they know if they were attracted to men they wouldn't want them either
