I answered a male high school classmates question for a recommendation on social media recently. 2 males had previously gave him the same advice i did. Yet the male ignored them and asked me then "well how much did you pay for your meal?" I thought it was rude. He could have Google it, the restaurant phone number came right up and so did the menu with their prices. Nope, he saw i am a woman and wanted me to spoon feed him. He could have asked the 2 other guys but didn't, and it shows me he is msyogynisyic. I decided to use it as an opportunity to embarass him and said "Google it bro, you know it depends on what you order". He got so butthurt and still wouldn't Google it. I ignored him and found him then in my dms whining to me like a toddler "why won't you help me?" in a paragraph. He got unfriended then. It was fun to watch people like my comments then and some other dude even commented a screenshot of the menu which showed the prices, and the dude still was coming at me, whining.
I know for dating, FDS says delete and block. But honestly if you are on date and the man surprises you with some "lets go 50 50" or the "it's your turn to pay" people advise just leave or just pay it then leave and block... but you can make a scene. You can say "oh, wow I didn't realize you were struggling financially that you can't even pay for my $20 dinner." Or you could say "take turns? Wow I haven't heard of that since I was a teenager when my coworkers and I were strapped for cash hahaha". It should completely deflate whatever scrotacity ego he has. If he isn't paying for you, don't stick the restaurant pay your server and do give them a tip, but embarass the dude and even tell the server "my date seems to be having financial problems but here's the cash for my meal and extra as a tip".if he had been bragging about his fancy car or how he makes so much money at his job or investing you could have instead said, "thats so funny! You can afford that sports car you were just telling me about but not this little dinner!' Or "I thought you were just saying how your job pays three figures and this $50 tab is too much for you to handle?"
If you're on a date and the guy starts talking crudely, especially in an environment where he can see families with kids are around, you should embarass him as you start to head out. If you know he has a much younger cousin or maybe a little nephew you could say "you must have some great conversations with your little nephew with your potty mouth. You must really he a great role model for him." There's always the old "do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Or even go after him if he's very educated, "yikes. With that ph.d I know you have the intelligence to be more tactful and verbose, but you sound like complete trash./ Your parents must be proud of that Harvard degree." And leave.
If you're together and he asks you to do something that mommies him embarass him "haha you don't know how to chop a vegetable? Ha haha! Come on, even kindergarteners chop vegetables! Please." (I saw a video of a two year old chopping a cucumber with a knife there's no excuse).
Laugh at him. Make an ass out of him. Be warned that you should expect that he will try to yell at you, argue with you, or neg you in retaliation. Calling him out to make a scene is something to do if you are actually able to leave that quick or in the process of walking out. You should be a woman that won't be tempted to fall for whatever negging or arguing he throws in retaliation. If you're alone with him dont do this, he may even get violent especially if you're still in his apartment alone with him.
You should always leave and delete and block. You get to call it out once but then block/leave rather than arguing or explaining further. Recently a dude told me over OLD "I like you a lot but don't know how to move to the next level from messaging" at this point i saw the red flag, I should have deleted and blocked him, but I did embarass him and said "what? Bro, you're the man. Thats some bs". He did get embarrassed and said "well yeah, I guess maybe we could hangout sometime when I'm not tired." Again I saw the red flag and threw one more jab before blocking saying "bro youre 30 and this is OLD, even middle schoolers do a better job of asking a woman out:".
Some other scrote started breadcrumming me after telling me he "wants to ask me on a date". I mirrored the breadcrumming. The next day he messaged me "I wish I knew you more" and I called it out and pulled the "bro that makes no sense. You can't say you want to know me but you leave me on read all the time and never followed through with a date. That's whack, clown" and I blocked him then. He was hoping I would do legwork and chase him lol.
I started listening to the fds podcast it has wonderful episodes and energy and I do think that Instead if just go full silence, ignoring the scotey/msyogynisyic comments, instead of just saying okay I'll pay my half when he springs it on you, start speaking up and call him out. Society has women so brainwashed into being scared to speak up, leaving, being overly polite, and the patriarchy us using these things to allow men to get away with low value dates like its normal.
They got rid of the shame. Calling it out or making a scene embarasses them. They don't expect that. Other women though will see or hear it too and it might wake them up or inspire them to call it out. One time a cashier (a male!!l) embarrassed me and my LVX because I was buying soda and snacks for him and the cashier called it out "come on man you can't even buy her a soda, and you're making her pay for you!!!?" And it made a scene. But it woke me up. We broke up the next day, not over just the soda but because he was a cheater, lazy, cheap, selfish, etc. But hearing someone else say it just clicked I was so embarrassed of my pickme ways. Have a disgusted appalled face when you hear your coworker say he forgot her anniversary, or didn't get her a birthday gift.
These are things that just start to undo some of the msyogynisyic ways, a little bit at a time. Gentlemen should be the norm, mcdonalds first dates where you split the bill should be whack and appalling.
