The reason why men call for men's rights is malicious whereas the reason women fight for women's rights is to be able to be independent and have mutual emotionally fulfilling relationships.

Something that I find tangiental to all the crying and gnashing of teeth that these men's rights crybabies whine about - paying child support if they're divorced and have children. If a man complains and is resentful about having to support his children, run far and run fast.

I have a male coworker who was sexually harassed by a previous boss. This is objectively bad. We should all stand with victims of sexual assault, abuse, and harassment.

However, he would only EVER talk about his experience when something about women's workplace safety came up. I see this way too often w/ "men's rights" morons. If you want to be an activist against sexual violence, great! Men get assaulted, too. You deserve a voice and I'll support that. If you only want to use men's experiences to invalidate women speaking up for themselves, get fucked.

omg family courts (presided over by male judges, or telling abusive men they can have supervised visitation, or the men don't even seek custody, or they're trying to worm out of alimony and child support)

I would like to add on that the men who scream the loudest about their "rights" are just telling on themselves. The ones who bring it up, are the ones who are the lowest rung on the totem pole.

The ones who are successful have straight up told me they are lucky to be born a man. It is so much easier to be a man and that they are judged on what they achieve rather than women who are judged by what they largely can't control (physical appearance) and how it bleeds into all other aspects of life.

I used to get angry that they even dare to bring it up, but now I just laugh in their faces because with ALL their privileges somehow they still manage to mess up 🤡🤣

I cringe so hard when I hear "men's rights". These men seriously want to play the victim so hard as if we women didn't fight tooth and nail just to be able to support ourselves and live independently for so many years.

Usually they are just angry they can't control us anymore. They don't want to pay child support because they don't have direct control over how that money is spent. They don't want to pay alimony to a woman who has no job experience because she was a single mother for so many years for the same reasons, they can't control that money and they don't actually see value in raising children and taking care of the home.

They want full custody of the children, but it's only ever to get out of child support more than anything. But in reality they don't want full custody because that means they have to actually spend time and effort raising their kids. If they get joint custody, they still expect the woman to do most of the child rearing while not paying any child support. If they have partial custody, they still bitch and moan about child support and then flake out on the weekends and holidays they are supposed to spend time with their kids.

If they insist on joint custody, they get to skip paying. 💡

They sing from the mountain tops that they want equal time with junior but really they just want to keep all their money and still don’t have their kid 50% of the time.

"Men's rights" doesn't exist. Have there ever been a men's rights movement? Like seriously a movement where men gathered to fight for a right they were denied? No? Because they never had any rights denied to them, so they never had anything to fight for. The funniest thing is seeing guys in competitive fields like banking and law lose it over "diversity hires stealing their jobs". They have more competition now? Not their fault!

The only nice thing about how toxic those industries are, are that the guys who actually did make it in will just be brutal and tell them they weren't good enough
