I believe that just like in Economics, the market determines the equilibrium: if all women rise their standards, those scrotes will have no choice but to treat women the way they want to be treated. That or die alone in their parents’ mold filled basement.

Men want you to lower their standards so they can have a chance. They know they’ll never be able to date a woman (and let’s be real, they mostly care about having sex) if she has a shred of self respect and love for herself. Them telling you to lower your standards is advice looking out for them, not you!

Remember: NEVER TAKE DATING ADVICE FROM A MAN. He’ll always give you advice that serves his self interests, instead of yours.

Yeah... even the ones supposedly on your side. After a series of abusive relationships all I‘d hear from my dad was "lower your standards" when it was clear I needed to do the opposite.

I had a male friend tell me to download tinder a year ago to meet new people when I moved to a new state, after a few days he asked how it was going and I said I ran out of people to swipe on lol and only swiped right 2x. He verbatim told me to lower my standards! I laughed and deleted the app.
