This— but also don’t beat yourself up if you can’t block right away. It’s normal and natural to feel anxious because it’s a very “final” decision. Instead, just reach out to your friends/community, journal about your feelings and experience, and work on self improvement however you can. Eventually you’ll find that the feelings that kept you tied to him were built on lies in the first place and the decision will be easy.
