Hey Ladies i’ve got myself into a bit of a situation!!

Broke up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago and got tinder to help with the grieving process. I actually recovered much faster than I expected and am happy and back to myself already. Last week while still I was still very upset I agreed to a date scheduled for tonight. However I messaged him an hour ago to ask whether we could reschedule later in the week as I’m running a lot of errands today in a neighboring city and I won’t be back till home till tonight.

He then tells me that he:

• he took the day off work • he borrowed his friends car to drive to my city (he lives about 40 mins away) • he is already in my city 6 hours before the originally scheduled date time (when i asked why his excuse was he didn’t want to be late...??)

Honestly I’m quite uncomfortable about this. Needless to say I also feel pretty guilty about canceling on him. Still I feel what he’s done is extreme and quite abnormal behaviour.

Extra info: he only had two profile photos and is originally a Syrian Refugee living here for the last 4 or 5 years. My gut is saying abort but I do feel bad for him. Thanks for any thoughts!
