What is wrong with the world that a freaking 20-YEAR-OLD ~~girl~~ child is already afraid of having "regrets" over some terrible guy who's just one of a thousand terrible guys (and maybe a few good ones) she'll meet in her lifetime? She hasn't even hit a woman's prime time yet...

Sweets, y’all don’t need to be run in the ground miserable before you end a relationship. All Fear of Missing Out is going to get you is even more resentment,sadness, and abuse.

Yeah, it’s going to hurt initially but you already know this guy isn’t the guy for you. If he isn’t the first person you want to talk to when things are good or bad, he isn’t the guy for you. If you are already having doubts, he isn’t the guy for you. If he’s disrespectful, he isn’t the guy for you. If you are fantasising about life outside of him, he isn’t the guy for you.

Time to rip that bandaid off and move on for your own mental and emotional health.

She was born in 2001 or 2000 for context, that is a young child, the scrote was born in the early 90s, completely different stages of life.

She posted an update, and GIRL is it sad.

"Later on that day he called me and I was trying to act normal but he told me that I was acting weird and that he doesn’t understand what’s wrong.

He then ended the call saying “bye” and I hung up without saying it back. He called a minute later to tell me that I should stop doing that and I told him I just hung up because he said “bye” and that I didn’t hang up in his face.

He then told me that what I’m doing is not okay so I asked him “but hanging in my face everytime we argue is okay? But now when I just hang up when you said “bye”, you’re hurt”

He then proceeded to tell me that he just hangs up in my face because I am provocative but he didn’t do anything to provoke me.

I proceeded to explain that what’s provocative is really subjective and even tho I didn’t hang up in his face.

He then told me that I’m being weird to which I replied that I’m not feeling safe with him anymore because he lashes out whenever I talk about any problem.

He lost it again and told me that he specifically told me not to talk about any problems yet I am already talking about one only after 2 days of what he said.. he then kept ranting that he’s starting to be emotionally exhausted and that what I want (for him not to yell at me, disrespect me and hang in my face) is not realistic and that he will try to stop doing it but he can’t promise me that it won’t ever happen again so as not to raise my expectations..

I told him that a healthy relationship shouldn’t include yelling but he said that we’re already not in a healthy relationship because we have a problem every week so I shouldn’t expect him to show healthy behavior because I am simply not okay and not stable.

He told me that this is what he can offer me, if it’s good enough then it’s fine and if it’s not I should tell him.

I told him “Alright, that’s it” to which he replied “You wanna breakup? Alright, let’s break up”

I zoned out when he said it, he kept ranting a lot about him not being able to handle it and that I make him tired and that this is not sustainable and that he wouldn’t like to live the rest of his life that way..

When he noticed I’m panicking and didn’t really get what he said, he told me to disregard what he said and that I’m not okay and I should go talk to a therapist (which I will do without him saying, ik I’m not okay)

He told me that it’s fine and that our relationship will be good when I seek therapy and stop bringing old problems over and over again..

I didn’t understand anything at that point because 5 minutes earlier he suggested breaking up but then he wants to support me (even tho he also said he has no capacity anymore) and stay with me till I’m fine..

I told him that I don’t wanna be a burden and that I’m not fit for a relationship but then he told me that I’m just emotional atm and can’t make a decision because I’ll regret it in the morning..

He said he wants to give it another shot and that when I get into therapy, everything will be fine and that at that time he will be able to handle me and stop losing his temper..

TL;DR: I tried breaking up with my boyfriend of one year but he wants to give it a shot because he believes our problems will be resolved when I go to therapy for my “mentall illnesses”

I am really hesitant and I don’t really know what should be the next step
