This is a normalized thing in society where the women are being string along by their boyfriend for several years without any clear indication and intention of getting married. This is the situation where the women become the "ride or die chick" because the relationship has been keeping them for so long. This is also the situation where men definitely have "businesses" going on.

Somehow, I managed to get the idea of this "string along relationship" from the perspectives of men that I came across. *both talks were done in separate timing in extremely non-formal situation so can be biased

Q: How long have you been in a relationship?

Man A (MA): 7 years with my highschool sweetheart

Man B (MB): 8 years with my classmate in college

Q: How has been the relationship going so far? What do you think about your gf?

MA: My gf is an overthinker, I am tired of her being so overthinking without any solution. I don't even have any chances to tell her my problems because she always need my solution to her problems. She's so illogical.

MB: My gf is lazy af, I hate the fact that she doesn't make any progress in her life yet she expects me to teach her everything. Whenever I ask her to be more determined, she always throw the "I will learn everything after we get married" card. I hate her for always staying in the comfort zone.

Q: Do you ever get bored about the relationship? If yes, why do you stay?

MA: I am actually bored of the relationship but we have been together for so long, I don't think it's a good idea to break up because it means we both have waste our times.

MB: Yes, her attitude irks me a lot but we have been together for so long, so breaking up sounds like everything come to waste with no results.

Q: What if your gf breaks up with you, find/marry someone else?

MA: * a huge relief with casual intonation while talking * I don't mind though, I think it's good thing because she finally has someone that actually take care of her. I don't think I will bother finding someone else after breaking up, being single seems more interesting.

MB: * casual intonation * I don't mind though just let her be, because I will definitely enjoy being single more.

Trivia: Both men have been active on the dating site. On the context of "looking for friends".

MA is active on the dating site because he said that his gf was the first to use the dating site so he was basically doing the same thing. Have casual flings/hookups? YES.

MB sometimes active on the dating site but it is because he is looking for someone to go to all you can eat resto with him. Have casual flings/hookups? NO (afaik).

Q: Does your gf knows about your dating site usage?

MA: She knows because she started the usage first but I am not telling her anything about the details of anyone I have met.

MB: No, she doesn't know and I don't think she will actually accept the idea of me using the dating site.

** If the ladies in here interested in another part, let me know because the talks were in long duration so I need to stop in here.
