Why do even high value celebrities have to date scrotes? Dude looks like he hasn’t brushed his teeth for years. Also, there’s a 17-year age difference — He’s 52 while Alexandra Daddario is 35. . She looks beautiful and should have ample options but she goes for this?!

Well, being famous, rich, and pretty doesn't automatically make someone "high value". Actors don't necessarily have a good education, nor a good character - the fact that they're good at acting means they're good at projecting a charming image, after all. I agree that Hollywood markets age gap relationships, and this is one of the numerous reasons we should be wary of looking up to celebrities. A woman's looks are NOT her only value to HV men, so assuming someone like Alexandra is HV just because she's gorgeous/famous/rich is a fallacy.

Grooming is very common in Hollywood so I'm not surprised women who have been in Hollywood since a young age have internalised the wrong message.

Um, this guy is a rich and powerful producer and I had no idea who Daddario was. Upon googling her, it's apparent that her career has stalled and dating this guy is means to an end. I mean I really don't care if she wants to get acting gigs by dating a producer who has tons of contacts in the industry. If that's how she chooses to get ahead, it's her choice.

I find the same thing with Florence Pugh and the Scrubs actor. She was mainly in Indie British films and after dating him, she is cast in Black Widow and is way more famous.

Also, being pretty automatically does not make women high-value and feeds into patriarchal notions that pretty women "deserve" love and good men.

The yellow or discolored teeth really gross me out. Like, you look in the mirror every day, you can't see how yellow they are? Get some white strips, or have them veneered, FFS. So many middle age men have this issue, and i just don't get it.
