Men act like many women don’t love to game as well. The difference is women don’t play for hours without acknowledging their partners existence. I went to a wedding of a woman who was marrying a guy she got engaged to after only six months. He moved in with her, leaving my ex bf without a roommate. They invited us over to grill and play video games and she DID EVERYTHING. Even the cleaning up, I helped her a bit until they called me over to join Mario Party. I felt bad for her.

Didn’t see her smile not even one time on her wedding day. It made me sad. She looks so sad.

I want to send this to a certain friend but I’m worried it’ll hit a raw nerve! My boyfriend games for usually 30-60 minutes on some days, when I’m painting or reading, and only after he’s finished all his work and chores. It’s a breath of fresh air after some of the couch creatures I dated previously.

Grown men shouldn't be playing video games, especially for hours and hours. They will gaslight you into being "too clingy" or "emotional" and "needy" when you should be spending quality time together or going out places! You're also way too young to be sitting on your butt in the house all day, find a man that pays attention and spends his time with you!

Never again. I lived this life. Was told I couldnt be in the same room as him when he games because I ruined it (because i would watch tv or have fun doing something else while he played). Was also told since we lived together it would make him "miss me more" and "want to do more with me" if he didnt see me while he played (40+hours a week on top of working a full time job). When I stopped being happy with his 30 seconds of breadcrumb attention and would just brush him off when he came in to check on me he started wanting me out there. His plan had backfired. I was happier alone so I stayed in the room. And then I left him.
