So this thread literally made my blood boil, and I need to call down, so I'm gonna vent. The direct, unreasonned and shameless denial of misandry in some women is one of the things that I hate the most.

  • Men getting abused by their partner and only having suicide as a loophole?

  • Men being seen as guilty by delfaut in any situation?

  • Homeless men getting rejected from shelters because they're often reserved to women?

  • Men not having any right to fatherhood and being seen as a "second" "bonus" parent?

  • Little boys failed by the educational system?

  • The justice system almost systematically giving a heavier sentence to men just because somehow they're more responsable?

  • The justice system being so biased that women are much likely to be trusted on words than men are on evidences

  • Husbands murderers getting a pass because "they have a child let her"

  • Men being systematically erased from victims of sexual violence discussions, so much that a man coming foward talking about his experience a sexual assault victim is taboo and frowned upon?

  • Little boys RAPED by an older woman being seen as "lucky" and "ladies man"

  • The constant demonization of men's sexuality

  • Men's mental health not being taken seriously at ALL? (Aka one of the many reasons why men make up most of the suicide victims?)

  • ... (i could go, but you already know)

All of that is nothing to them, misandry is not a problem, misandry doesnt kill people it is just "being a little mean".

When Amber Heard abused Johnny Depp and told him "Go ahead say that i'm abusing you, you're a man and I'm a woman who are they gonna trust?". She wasnt acknowledging and using a societal phenomenon that comes from a systemic misandrist perspective. She was just being a little mean

When men from 15 to 35 are the primarily victims of suicide because they dont have anybody to turn themselves to when it comes to their mental health, this is not the consequence of a systemic misandrist perspective on men's mental health. This is just them being unlucky

When that homeless man is basically left dead in winter because the local shelter doesnt accept men. This is not misandry, this is just shelters being fair

When that man that got rape is told to "shut up about rape, you're not a woman, you dont understand what it is, since you cant get raped" and has to live with the burdden by himself, this is not a misandrist stand on sexual assault. This is just the reality.

I really need to remember that those women are bitter, I really need to remember that they talk out of anger and that most dont think like them, these women are not sane people. But the thing that hurts the most is when elements of their discourse get spewed and mixed into the popular mindset.

We need to advocate more, we need to inform more and have better discussion.
