IMO what is also happening is left wing governments/NGOs are seeing a rise of more conservative governments capitalizing on a large young male demographic who faces genuine problems and are looking for consideration. typically a left wing view sees males as a member of the "oppressor class" and therefore must be analyzed via a lens of "problem causing" not problem facing.

Young males may turn to conservative governments with their votes etc... and will also create competition for funding for left wing NGOs like feminism as MRAs begin to build men's services.

This is what I perceive the slow changes coming in very vehement areas of feminist ideologies like Duluth or Women's studies that men cannot face problem due to "male privilege". Another example is boys in school. The idea of helping boys in literacy is classed as "sexism" by most feminists as helping boys is helping the "oppressor class." However, they can sense something coming and are reassessing in order to prevent something horrible happening.

The way democrats will deal with men issues might have a significant influence on the next elections. I don't think the lack of interest for men issue could push them to vote for the republican candidate but many could decide to abstain. This could be enough to tip the balance and make the left lose. It really is a critical question.

He has a way of speaking about men's issues that is very tactful, respectful, and agreeable. I really respect him for that.

I don't think this is all due to his influence. I think there's always been some capacity for men's issues inside of the democratic party. It just competes for oxygen with a much more organized and attention-grabbing group: feminists.

Typically, two aspects of the author's position make it completely unappealing despite her stated good intentions:

The end goal is not men's well being, but to make us "pro-social". In other words, it's still about me, me, me, what can men do for me?
No self reflection. Women and the women's movement are perfect, only men need to be better. Only men can do any wrong.

I'm now convinced there is no progress without anti-feminism. This movement is unreformable. It is entitlement and selfishness at its core. It's hurting everyone, very much including girls, who are raised to be egotistical children for life.
