I really feel bad for boogie. His heart is in the right place but sadly, like many guys (and handicapped or ill guys) he is getting played. The weak and the old are doomed in women's eyes... That is, unless they open their eyes and learn to spot people taking advantage.

As for people going on about his weight I'd like to remind them that his eating is the result of mental illness. (Rather a symptom) much like some people find relief from depression and anxiety in exercise he finds his in food. At least the surgery will help reduce damage.

Now the divorce thing that may end up setting him back a few years in therapy OR it may actually help him progress further. I doubt he is as dumb as some make him out to be... I am sure he is able to see patterns emerging and will draw conclusions in due time.

This, to me, as someone with chronic (but invisible) health issues is yet another reminder to be extra careful about showing weakness, as if my last breakup wasn't enough.
