What I've learned about many women that want a "poly-amorous" relationship is what they really mean is they can screw around all they want, because they have the opportunity to easily and especially for random hookups, and they except it is much harder for the men, which is true. When they find out you actually got some it totally wrecks their emotions and they go down a path of saying how your method of obtaining sex was not the same as theirs and thus is "wrong", "inappropriate", "hurtful", "not the same thing", etc. It totally exposes their hypocrisy.
