Yeah I don't see any problems with what you've said. Seems like these countries have some good ideas we could be stealing, AND they don't have food shortages as the original comment suggested. Venezuela is such a shit example, runaway inflation, food shortages, etc... but clearly that's cause they're fucking stupid and not cAuSe SoCiALiSm because we can look to other socialist minded countries e.g. Denmark Sweden Finland and see that they are doing things fairly well. Millenials grew up in a cognitive dissonant society. That no longer guaranteed them the fruit of their labour, meaning the authority with responsability, and at the same time shamed them as incompetent and lazy and so on. And guess who did that? Baby boomers.

Brainwashing millenials to do this and that. To go to university, and soon get a bullshit corporate job, because that would guarantee them a wife and a family, and so on, when its perfectly clear the motivation and the rules of society changed. And even the economy, the morals, and the rewards are different. And millenials said this many times over, but retarded boomers dont listen.

Many millenials went to crime and drugs because of these mixed signals. At the same time boomers shamed and absolutely restrained millenials from doing anything about the situation, and instead are the ones behind all the bluepill bullshit, the materialism and consumerism that destroyed and divided the new generation, making it impossible for them to even rise above.

Baby boomers are the worst generation ever. Everyone knows this. Most of them are old and still think like childreen.

Society would maybe be saved if we could get rid of them fast. But we wont, and because we cant get rid of them fast, perhaps society will collapse before, which is not a bad thing if it happens soon enough to get the boomers the karma they deserve, because they will be old, weak and defenseless and will be easy prey in the shitty world they created and always thought would not bite them in the ass, only others, so it was all good.

As a millennial myself i get what you are saying to a degree. As a kid i always identified more with older people from the war time generation. The stories my grandparents and great uncles would tell about the depression and the war always interested me and i identified more with their values than those of my baby boomer parents or the people i went to school with. Both of my parents were socialists involved with the trade union movement - my dad was involved with the far left in the 70's. He is very despondent with the trade union movement today but still clings to socialism. He is in total denial of reality, when i was growing up he and my mum as well as my teachers at school had some really funny ideas about things. It used to drive me up the wall.

We can hate on boomers all we want. It doesn't change the fact that Millennials for the most part are an utter waste of a generation. I turned my back on socialism when i was 17 partly due to reading homage to Catalonia and realising that left wing revolutions were an utter shit show and being so angry that all those men who left their home countries to fight fascism were murdered by their own side while they were in the process of losing the war. I did sort of fall in with a somewhat left wing crowd politics wise for several years because i was opposed to the Neoliberal and Neoconservative war mongering and endless war in the middle east but the left care more about race baiting or nonsense gender politics rather than war or corrupt trade deals or mass surveillance.

I myself have never done particularly well for myself financially. I guess i just viewed it as our cross to bare like my grandparents had to put up with the depression and the war when they were young. I count myself lucky to have found Austrian economics and came to admire politicians most of who fall in to the libertarian or paleo conservative category something i was introduced to by the internet and specifically coming across the Ron Paul crowd in 2006-2007.

This is good. I think the closest and safest political perspective we can have is libertarian or go paleo. I would prefer to go full paleo. Clean up all these boomers, recycle their cities, end the bullshit consumerism, and have a different way of living, or each man can live on his own without being bothered if thats what he wants.

The USSR under Brezhnev or Gorbachev wasn't even that bad. Life was hard and it made hard men. There was no affirmative action in the education system unless you were related to a central committee member. It was keep up in class or get left behind. National service was mandatory for all men. Homosexuality was illegal - the KGB would have eliminated anyone involved with "drag kids" or Jessica "wax my balls" Yaniv. It was illegal not to have a job. Millennial cry babies think working 30 hours a week in an air conditioned office doing admin is slavery and socialism means never having to work and getting free stuff. Wait until they have to do 50 hours a week at a tractor factory. There was no daily lattes or avocado toast in the USSR. It was mend and make do. People hoarded, scavenged and grew their own food so they could eat all year round and bartered to get what they needed.

Yes there were shortages, it could be inconvenient and iphones would be for party members only. Honestly we have so much consumer crap left over i think we would cope with shortages a lot better in the west.

If you work for a living the only difference you would notice is that instead of the wanker who comes from "corporate" or head office making your lives difficult it would be some twat from "the party" who comes to make your life difficult.

Only thing we would have to get used to is keeping our mouths shut. Denigrating the good name of comrade AOC or comrade Pelosi would get you arrested by the KGB. Everyone has to pretend what politicians say is true even though you all know its bullshit and find plenty of black humour ways to make fun of it.
