Unfortunately there won’t be a lesson to learn because when it happens again there won’t be anyone around who experienced this bullshit. This has happened several times in ancient history with civilizations.

I think it's our data being stored on hard drives vs. paper vs. tablets/sand stone... it would be hard to read a hard drive without a computer unless you knew how to read magnetism or something haha(assuming non flash/solid state)
[–]dogwoodcat12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
The concept refers to how older technology often isn't compatible with newer technology. This is seen most often with format changes (vinyl -> cassette -> CD -> download -> streaming), but can also be observed when trying to read old files or run old programs natively.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Those drives become slowly erased over time, magnetic data does not store as cosmic radiation fades it out, often within a decade.

They supposedly have some special storage that lasts something like 5 milliion or 5 billion years.
I wanted to think of a way to send data into space but yeah it's dumb/entropy/expansion/noise.

And also most men will always go on their knees for women. The wise men and the alphas are outnumbered and with too few to change anything

I think you and I'm a very different idea of what an alpha male is. An alpha male is that top 20% that doesn't have to worry about getting screwed over by a woman because women worship them.

China or Russia will win out in the end. Whatever Nation has the balls to just kill the vermin once and for all. Which in the end, will be the biggest minimalist regime. Both will probably be heavily reliant upon slave labor again, the world will revert back to a grim time of Tyranny. I dont see a bright future any which way we look at it. There is only a few moves possible that will divert this fate. All require sacrifice, which most refuse.
[–]Umas1511 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Lol at saying Russia and China in one sentence. While China is new superpower, Russia is crumbling. Without natural resources they would be third world country with their alcohol epidemic, AIDS epidemic, drug abuse epidemic. What products Russia sells? Do you ever bought something 'made in Russia'? While Moscow and St Petersburg are very nice cities this is only fraction of what Russia really is.
The only difference between Russia and third world country is that in Russia there is low fertility rate. It's pretty high in comparison to other EE countries(~1.7-1.8) but mostly because biggest muslim minority in the non-muslim(so not including Albania or Bosnia) Europe(both when we speak about % of population and absolute numbers). I know that in Call of Duty Russia has no problems attacking USA but their GDP is lower than that of Italy and Canada.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You know China is mostly a desert right? The only fertile areas are along coastal regions and that is where its huge population is centered. Russia has much more in resources than China, including oil and gas.

Russia is weak and will not survive 2020's in state it currently is, and some people on Internet that knows nothing about this country thinks it can somehow(?) rival countries like China or USA. It's completely laughable for me. China treats Russia only like a fuel station while also colonizing russian lands near Amur river. Not to mention population of Russia is in decline but only Slavs, Muslim population is getting bigger. Russia has enourmous problems inside, like I said for example HIV(ok I should said HIV not AIDS) in Russia prevalence is ~1%. And alcohol, drugs etc Russia is not USSR at height of it's power, it's a house of cards ready to crumble.

Now this is why In my opinion patriarchy is still gynocentric the only way to fix things forever is to build an androcentric society that’s if we had the numbers in mgtow it would consists of us saying well ladies you’re on your own you fix this or you perish and not survive while we do our own things what that will do is show women how they truly need to be dependent on a man to survive. They will either crawl back to us and beg or go extinct their choice and it’s harsh but it’s the only way to end gynocentrism.
Why I think patriarchy is still gynocentric? You’re still not holding women accountable for the problems they caused and still taking responsibility by fixing the mess they made. What that will only do is cause another wave of feminism because women are still not held accountable. For women to learn they need to suffer in harsh conditions where a man ignores them and holds them accountable.

We have only lost our consciousness because we were travelling away and further from our binary star, Sirius, in our orbit. I suggest reading abo8t Ancient Greek a astrology or Vedic astrology, it will explain the cycle of time, and the 4 ages. Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Iron. Right now we are supposedly leaving the Iron Age, which makes sense, because the lowest point of humanity seems to have peaked around the Medieval Ages.
However, we are now orbiting back towards Sirius and our consciousness is returning and technology is advancing. In the Iron Age, men and women were subjected and enslaved to marriage to continue civilization. As we enter the Iron Age, higher consciousness is freeing us of these limitations to a point where we no longer need the opposite sex. We are becoming mentally and physically free.
Society won't end, it is changing. Even If it means the current rulers of the Iron Age have to fall, along with their ideals, just as the previous civilizations did.
Be happy, as men, we are being freed. MGTOW

IMHO he forgot the most interesting part. What I'm talking about was the pinpoint of the article: The Misandry Bubble. All of this pressure on men will have a result, men will find a way to replace women. Either through VR technology, or SexBots (not dolls). After that happens, womens value plummets, as men will no longer need their support, intercourse or attention. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, because after this, women will never recover.
[–]Original_Username712 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What reason is there to believe that advanced AI is coming? They can barely make robots that can walk upright without looking like they shat themselves, and robots still struggle to walk upstairs. All of the stuff MGTOW get exciting about in terms of "sexbot" technology is always so underwhelming, and none of it is signalling the emergence of a new class of advanced AI sexbots.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh, well my confidence comes from my own research into the topic. It's true that the current approaches to artificial general intelligence are lack luster. For me, the topic is of such importance that I've dedicated myself, given my life for the cause, and I will attempt to be the first to create a working system. Once you understand some of the fundamental elements of what is required for a working system, the haze of will we be able to create such a thing disappears. When I speak about these things coming to pass, i'm not referring to my competitors succeeding in their efforts. Moreover, sexbots don't require full blown AGI. What we're trying to create is an illusion of something I call a "shared experience", where the user interacts with the agent and receives believable reaction. You are in part already familiar with what I'm talking about. You've doubtless heard about men developing feelings for TV, show or movie actresses. There is no interaction happening, but because the character is fleshed out within the frame of the story, the person watching can develop a connection with them that is one sided, but effective at fulfilling some of what they get from female companionship. In this case, the actress or robot-waifu is a "character" with a fleshed out personality that she acquired from behaving in a certain way while you and her experienced an event, like cooking eggs if you will. If in a given situation or event, the user has a limited number of ways to interact with her, that will change her behavior, emotions, and response, it will be good enough to keep up the illusion of a shared experience. Even during the act of sex, such a pattern would be good enough for most men. As long as the character of the robot is interesting enough and enjoyable.
I myself have the ability to carry the subject into reality, and I will do so just as soon as I become financially stable through learning how to trade in the stock market. My occupation and financial responsibilities keep me from dedicating my full attention to the endeavor. However, I will soon resolve those problems and dedicate myself to creating something that will result in the plummet of women's value to men. Anyway, nice talking to you.

[–]T00000090 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I doubt we will ever see actual AI only because the populace has been dumbed down so much in addition to a flood all the western nations with retarded savages that essentially wipes out any possibility of technological advancement. [–]UnhappyAndAnxious 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
Not every technological prediction comes true, and technology does not necessarily "advance" exponentially. They've been predicting great advancements in robotics and AI for a long time now, and nothing has come of it. Even if that stuff does appear in the next fifty years, it will take even longer for it to become commercial.
Besides, the actual "advancements" in sex bot tech is pathetic, and MGTOWs just pretend that it's something remarkable. Plastic heating up or dolls being given the conversational abilities of a furby are not going to make convincing humans.
[–]T00000090 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Flying cars were predicted in the 50's... they exist today just like hand held computers and a million other advancements. What you don't understand is that some of us have been around long enough to remember this shit dummy.
[–]UnhappyAndAnxious 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Flying cars are nothing like how they were predicted lmao. They're impossible to make viable. Technology has changed drastically, but not to some predictable "end" as you're claiming.
The idea of exponential technological advancement is false, especially if you view history in its totality, and the attempts to make it real are dangerous.
[–]T00000090 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Nothing ever turns out exactly how it's predicted, perhaps you're unaware of this thing called physics and matter where immutable forces can't converge, that means flying cars are not going to look like an artist CONCEPT from 50+ years ago.
I also never claimed advancement was exponential, so go learn to read and then get back to me kiddo.

You're taking the analogy literally. The point is that you can do anything to a robot dog that you can do to a real dog but it is not the same. You can do anything to a sex robot that you can do to a real woman, but is it the same?
[–]doulikefishsticks6914 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's a pretty straightforward analogy. Lol.
A dog and my friends will meet companionship needs. A sex robot would be fun. It wouldn't be ideal by any means. But good enough? Sure. A sex robot will do whatever I want, never take a night off, and wont leave me and take my house. Pretty big points in their favor. Lol.
[–]necrosnomicon4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
of course not, I actually recognize its not the same...but I rather have the sexbot than the real deal, its just a better option and besides, compared to a robot women are nothing but a useless piece of shit who cannot do anything right.
women cannot cook(too hard for them), women cannot raise children(way too hard for them), women cannot clean(its hard for them) and women practically fail at even the most basic tasks these days, they are a problem and admit it, you just can't do it, its not even worth it nor ever was, they cheat and cannot stop it, they will divorce you and you will lose everything, thanks to her dumbass the children are defective or even aren't yours most of the time.
a sexbot have all the benefits of women + can do 100 times better all of what women can't, sexbots lack disadvantages unlike women who are the complete polar opposite they lack advantages, if these "feel right" and "feel wrong" stuff is the only drawback I'll take it.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"...know that it is a machine" A machine that does what exactly? Because this is what you're talking about, whether you realize it or not. That's what a dog is to us people, a thing that has behaviors and so on. What we know about it is what it does, how it behaves and interacts with us. Ideas, personality, and interaction on the level of a dog is not exclusive to biological organisms. For you, a robot is something that "cannot" interact with a user like something living does.

I'm trying to imagine how I would compare my love for a thing to my love for a sentient being. I could maybe say that I love my computer, but if I compare that to my dog, it doesn't seem like the same thing. I would blow my life savings to save my dog's life if one of them got injured or sick, but in determining how much I would spend to repair my computer, I would never spend more than it would cost to replace it.
I just don't see sex robots as a Panacea for all of our girl problems.
[–]EvilCoyote3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Ok, in that sense, I'm with you. What I'm talking about is the way people tend to react to robotic puppy dogs basically the same as real puppy dogs. It isn't until we see them not acting "real" that we start to treat them as inanimate. Moreover, don't underestimate the value of receiving simulated affection from something even if that something can't feel real affection you. For reference, people like cats, and cats are fucking scum. :p
...also women. I mean, I'm not convinced they do real affection, either.

I think that marginalized men, who are deeply cynical about the prospects of pair bonding with a woman, will prefer high end sex robots to real relationships, especially if it’s trading a virtual reality/robot “10” for an overweight and entitled “5.” The question is only how large will these numbers be. The gynocentric narrative is that this only will apply to men who are “losers”—men who would have difficulties with women in any time and place, but I think we can all agree that the numbers of disaffected men are much larger than this, and include otherwise well socialized, and competent men, who are simply sick of gender dynamics in modern times. Admittedly many of these men reach this point after a marriage, or spending a significant amount of time dating.
There is always the fact that younger generations of men will start off relatively more idealistic about women, but the culture is degenerating, and redpill knowledge is spreading, making it likely that men will be redpilled at younger and younger ages. If your mom is a useless thot, dad’s not in the picture, and you’re reading MGTOW/redpill content at 16, and all the girls around you in highschool are bitches, you’ll probably wake up faster than older generations of men.
[–]Gordyne0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The culture will try everything to shame a man that uses sexbots.
But when you combine sex bots + VR, this stuff is going to get so good most men won't care if they are being shamed.

Welfare state didn't actually cause the initial single motherhood spike.
The pill did, which allowed women to start fucking Chad irresponsibly until the condom broke or she stopped being responsible at all.
The welfare state helped add to this problem and escalate it, but before the pill the amount of single motherhood wasn't growing that much.
[–]DangZagnut29 points30 points31 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Where you get paid to have fuck participation trophies, you will keep making participation trophies.
Women can't spell 'responsibility' as the word has never been in the same sentence. Other than this one.
Stop paying money to women for babies, and watch the baby problem disappear.
[–]Sir_manalot10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It won't dissapear.
Instead, women will gather simps to fight the system and it will all come crashing down on all of us.
This is also why republicans will never touch welfare. As it would be foolish to do so for there own safety.
[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yep, birth control made out of wedlock conception skyrocket. Many of those are terminated. In that way, abortion aids in out of wedlock conception massively. If not for abortion, we would be a nation of mostly illegitimate children.

[–]Omnibrad14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
What nonsense is this. The only things that ever stopped single motherhood were social consequences and economic consequences.
The welfare state has alleviated the economic consequences. The social consequences have been alleviated by mass media. The pill did not make single motherhood more viable than it was beforehand.
[–]Sir_manalot6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Look at the date that welfare came into existence.
Look at how it impacted single motherhood (spoiler: it didn't change much).
Look at the date the pill came into existence.
Look at what happened to single motherhood right after (spoiler: that is when it started spiking).
At the time single motherhood started spiking, it was considered taboo.
I do not really want to go into depths about it. But here is a video that does (start at 24:07 to get to that part).

Look at the date that welfare came into existence. Look at how it impacted single motherhood (spoiler: it didn't change much).
Facts disagree.
[–]Sir_manalot1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Did you even watch the video?
After the pill was invented, single motherhood and welfare costs spiked worldwide.
Not just America, but every country with welfare.
Saying that poverty and welfare impacted single motherhood is also true, but it didn't impact it that much until after the pill came into the picture.
Certain countries, like Australia had welfare in certain areas since 1900, but only after the pill came into existence did welfare and single motherhood start spiking.
Or to be clear, what year was the pill invented again?
And where does it fall on that graph?
Hint: it was right before that number started escalating.
[–]dazed1112 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
How did the pill do that?
I don't understand the cause and effect there. How does being able to have sex without having children cause single mothers??
[–]DirtieHarry3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It normalized sexual relations out of wedlock. So the women not on the pill end up getting preggers. (I think that's what he's getting at)
[–]ChiefBobKelso1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The pill isn't 100% effective, and lots of women "forget" to take it, but you still have them sleeping around now, so they get pregnant and become single mothers, especially after abortion is legalised. This is definitely worth a watch for the data and explanation.

Yep. This whole thing with women into the workforce wasn't for their sake. It was for the sake of corporations, so that people will compete for jobs instead of the corporations competing for the people. Ofc it lowered the wages drastically.
Now with immigration, same thing is happening. It's not enough that men and women now work. They want even cheaper slaves.

This is why limiting social media makes one so productive. Twitter in the initial days was so good, I got introduced to investors and actually funded my project. Today, its just people whining about shit.
[–]DIG_ROOKIE_DIG4 points 7 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I feel like just about everybody, save for the most elder generations, has at least had some exposure to the addictions of social media, if we're being honest with ourselves.
Even those of us who freed ourselves from the chains very likely had some sort of experience that was either very close to, or was full blown addiction.
I know I personally used to be very BP'd, simp'd, and full of bleeding heart liberal notions. I was very unaware of the world and the dangers within it. Then, I grew up, and became aware. Though admittedly my experiences were later in life, I didn't grow up with it and as such, like many others I think I fared a little better having had the experience of NOT experiencing social media.
That said, when facebook was on the rise initially, I was definitely on that train. I noticed looking back how many hours I would spend in a day just mindlessly browsing the page, uploading pictures, and liking other pictures. About the time videos started to become mainstream there, I ditched it. Never had twitter or instagram or any of the others. I use reddit obviously, and have for a long time, Digg before that. I try to limit my exposure to when I'm winding down for the day, and not every day at that.
Social media is now at a point where there are children who are seeing it before they are in grade school. It's a pretty toxic thing, that I don't think will really ever be reined in at this point. I feel like it, alongside society (possibly being symptoms of one another) will simply continue down a self-destructive path until it ends.

I was at the dentist earlier, the waiting room was full. Maybe 12 people of all ages. EVERY ONE was staring at their fone like it held the secrets of the universe. I stared out the window at the beautiful scenery, feeling very smug
and depressed.
[–]DIG_ROOKIE_DIG2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's annoying as shit. I try to think about it, larger picture, and get upset with the whole situation rather than one particular individual.
It's easy to just yell at someone for being on their phone 24/7, but it doesn't give you a true understanding of the entire disease.
This social media/smartphone thing is just as much a symptom of a larger ailment as MGTOW is.
Edit:Guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel like trying to think philosophically about life, and understand why things are happening instead of just getting mad that things are happening, gives you a much better perspective and preparation for whatever this storm is that seems to be looming on the horizon.
[–]Mylaur2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Those that could afford to leave left, those that couldn't are starving or dead. There aren't going to be any 'men' to rebuild. They're going to end up being taken over by a neighbor and/or put under the heel of a globalist nation who will install a violent dictator. This dictator will kill off enough of the 'men' until there's enough food and resources to go around. The womyns will whore themselves out for food to the nearest conquering male, possibly pointing out the location and resources of any lingering native male to sweeten the deal. These men will die too. Eventually things will stabilize into whatever primitive society the local dominant religion permits.

Genuine question I could probably Google, but it would kill the fun:
What percentage of the United States' population knows/understands how the Roman Empire fell? I mean ... 10%
Let's be generous and create a scenario where we make that number bigger:
What percentage of the population understands that if you create the conditions that lead to the fall of the Roman Empire - what percentage of people understand how that recipe will lead to our ruin as well?

Did I at any point harbor any view that they are free from blame? They have been used and they dont know it, they have had their biology taken advantage of thru different societal wide engineered concepts such as the sexual revolutions and feminism. This has all helped to emasculate men and then destroy the family unit with the skewed laws surrounding the divorce causing it. I am quite shocked that people here believe that all this time through out history females are disgusting when it is the system brought about by these satanists that have caused this outcome. I am myself mgtow for this reason as I believe within a certain framework females can be productive to society and pleasant to be around, not what me and you have seen evolve relatively suddenly in the last 150 years in comparison to the thousands of years before that.
