Not really, I'm just seeing lots of comments about dick cheese, the funny thing is about people who make these comments are basically admitting they have terrible hygiene so they need to get part of their dick cut off to deal with it and then pretending everybody else must have the same problem. That's really fucked up and yeah I'm completely with you, when you bring up this point they just ignore you and start spamming. I knew facebook, twitter and reddit were bad but I hadn't realised how bad it was until I properly got into using alternatives.

The people I do feel for aside from the infants obviously are parents who don't want to circumcise their children but get really pressured into it. There's some rebellion happening and we've had a few posts here and there but unfortunately these pro-circumcision types are absolute cunts to anyone that disagrees with them and it's the exact same scenario as feminists. People need to grow a pair and stand up to them instead of getting too scared of the backlash. Staying silent won't save them because eventually they're going to start demanding that people virtue signal.

Appearance is obviously a terrible reason for MGM, as is any non-medical concern, but anybody who actually thinks parents are pedophiles for citing appearance as their misguided motivation is literally retarded.

I find most people are sympathetic to men's rights issues when you bring it up without the label of men's rights. No doubt this is due to smear campaigns feminists made against MRAs. Unfortunately there's no systematic way to address these issues without an organization under the umbrella of men's rights, and that's what prevents these views from going mainstream. Most people never even thought about these issues, since they're never discussed.

The only people I ever see who aren't sympathetic to these things are feminists, who would rather shift the conversation to "but how can you not be a feminists?!??"

Oh I know. That’s why I didn’t have him snipped at birth, and he’s still left with half his foreskin.

I was actually circumcised twice, which really pisses me off. The doctor originally did a dorsal slit, to prevent issues like Formosa, while allowing me to keep most of my foreskin. But my mother freaked and had them do a second one.

All about the cause myself. Just don't agree with the bloody stains. I know it's for getting attention but I kind of hate that on the feminist side just as much. It had to do with a wave of Jewish doctors in the 50’s. They claimed it prevented all sorts of diseases, when they just wanted their children to be normal at school. As opposed to being ridiculed in Europe as a minority with weird dicks. That’s why it’s swinging the other way, a lot of Jews have gone into finance instead instead of medicine, so the no circumcising is slowing coming back into the mainstream. Especially along with the anti-female circumcised issue blowing up. Also we’re a backwards society, my parents are from Ireland and never thought of cutting my dick off

It's easy to botch a circumcision in ways that don't get much attention because the damage is minor and chalked up to "normal" for the owner of the penis. You can have even further reduced sensation, or have the skin that's not meant to be on your penis stretched up onto the penis because they snipped too much. Everybody likes a hairy shaft, right? More severe complications you'd notice right away, like... accidental amputation. Which happens. Or infections ranging from minor to life threatening.

Well my husband is completely numb around the top and sometimes experiences total numbness which led him to get a prescription for cialis only in his 20s. We use lube now and it has really helped a lot but he hates that he has no feeling in some parts. He said if he would hit it with a hammer he wouldnt feel anything. Circumcision removes very sensitive nerves, and in order to circumcise a baby you have to actually rip the skin from the penis because it's fused until around puberty. It's extremely painful and leaves scar tissue. I'm guessing his numbness came from the nerves being ripped off along with the skin, having scar tissue, and the fact that the skin is dry since there's no foreskin to keep it moist

They were probably pressured by tradition and family. That’s half the reason people do it nowadays. Say you’re 24, have a close relationship with your parents and you have a son. They want you to circumcise him because it was done to them and their parents. Who are you to say no to an age old tradition?

In second grade of secondary school here, we watched a documentary on traditions from around the world. One of the traditions was cutting off the labia minora from 12 year old girls (who usually consented), and everyone was talking about how fucking barbaric it was. The teacher was talking about how a girl shouldn't have to destroy her body to please others. Nobody gave a fuck about forced circumcision. Not a single person. If that isn't a fucking terrible double standard, I don't know what is.

I had to get a circumcision done at the age of 19 and i come from a place where circumcision isn't the norm so i lived the past 19years without being circumcised and after it i feel horrible the pain the sensitivity issues can't even wear normal clothes screw self pleasure i just wanna say unless and until you're not indicated to do it i really recommend no one does it istg can't even take a piss without spraying the area in urine and even sitting down it kinda sucks and i hate the fact that circumcision is the norm for millions of babies all over the world even with or without religion it just sucks and people mock men for raising voice against it i agree with feminist female circumcision is horrible but still DON'T CIRCUMCISE YOUR KIDS it sucks

I'm all for people not doing it if they don't want, but those "sixteen functions," are the same 3 ideas rehashed 16 times. One of them is that it makes your dick smaller...who TF cares about 1cm of skin at the tip? Seems like a series of bad arguments.

Just focus on the mutilation part, that's the only one FGM folks focus on.

Plus, it's not like having foreskin is without problems, also. Everyone keeps saying "you're dirty if you think foreskins get grimy," but it's a dumb argument to imply having more skin wouldn't mean it gets dirty easier.
