The hate campaigns seem firmly rooted in outrage that uppity girls should be intruding upon men's inalienable right to behave how they like, harass who they want, control culture as they wish and shape society in their own image. Like: "You'll prise Lara Croft's skimpy shorts from my cold, dead hands."

Uhhhh we have a freaking term for this, female hypoagency. Control culture? It is women forcing the narrative not the men you moron. It was women who shifted their gender roles and keep trying to change how men are or their male spaces.

However if those attitudes are at least partially stoked by very real and profound economic and social changes that have left some men feeling disempowered, marginalised, maligned and neglected, is it enough to simply demand that they suck it up and deal with it? I'm not sure.

So you do admit social changes have had an effect on how we are as a society, and one of those biggest changes came due to feminism obviously.

Our newly egalitarian culture has belatedly accepted (in theory if not always practice) that men do not have a monopoly on power and authority, whether financial, political or physical. The man is no longer the master of his household, but an equal partner in a domestic project.

Oh yes that is why men are treated the same and equally in society in domestic matters. OH WAIT, no they are treated as bumbing dads, potential pedophiles, grown man children, and discriminated against in the courts in domestic matters among other things.

Yes, men need to change and adapt to a rapidly shifting world. So too does the culture in which those angry white men are forged.

So in other words feminists should have adapted to their circumstances and just taken how they were treated lying down? How about the fact with the changes in domestic areas due to increasing technology which made keeping a house much easier and take less time females were able to use the new found change to change their lot in life. We are seeing similar increasing technology destroying mens gender roles just like it destroyed womens former gender role of domestic servitude, only this time we are supposed to suck it up and change to fit society and the fact we no longer have the same roles?

Yes. You see, to the typical feminist, focusing on things like false rape accusations and the massive bias in family court, you prove that you want to enforce gender roles... because... well, they never really get around to arguing that, they just spout of a lot of overly complicated jargon and try to baffle you with bullshit -- even when it's quite clear that you've got a good 20 IQ points on them.

If you wanted to prove that you really cared about men's rights, you'd spend all of your time advocating the rights of men to wear skirts to work. That is, without a doubt, the single greatest gender issue facing men today.

They demand that the workplace change to suit their sensibilities, they demand that the exclusive, high-prestige upper tier jobs be given to them without the sacrifice that many have made to get there. They completely ignore the men in the glass cellar.

Men as a class have been acquiescing and many more are shoved into the death professions, as middle tier jobs are replaced with women. With many men eschewing higher education women will be in power positions sooner than later. They will still find ways to blame 100% of the men for the power wielded by the top 3% of men. They seem to think that the male janitor has more power and prestige than the female president of yahoo.

I never understood why the whole Anita thing is "because she's a woman". When people got riled up about Roger Ebert giving unfair criticism of video games, was it because he was a white man? Was it blatant discrimination against people who are missing half of their faces? Atleast he never came out swinging with "as a white man, video games are dumb". Why would any other case be so unique?

Actually it's the role for women that has barely shifted. They are still the little princesses that must be protected and indulged (especially if middle class). All that has changed with their role is that they must be indulged more. The gender script for men has not changed much but certainly more than women. They still have to serve women's interests but without any ego reward (except for the ruling 1%).

The proper response, the way to "adapt" is to go your own way. Men Going Their Own Way or MGTOW, is our way of saying, "we provide for ourselves only, the only person I protect is me". The legal and emotional risks of fatherhood and marriage are unacceptably high.

This is the world feminists want, so let them have it and keep complaining about "where have all the real men gone?" I'll be playing dota 2 and drinking with my homies.

There are 2 very different movements within the MRA, what I call redpillers who uphold gender roles and attribute clear social norms to biological differences. And groups like us (although recently I have started to doubt this as I have been down voted for pointing out sexism of top commenters) who seek to remove harmful gender roles.

Don't be offended when someone say a MRAs are sexist, some wearing this name badge definitely are, it's upto us to identify them and call them out. It's not the job of outside observers.
