Well, I’m glad I don’t get periods.

Aside from that however, most “women’s problems” are really human problems that feminists try to make gender specific for agenda reasons.

For example both men and women can be victims of violent crime (in reality men are victimized more). Both men and women can feel uncomfortable, etc.

We need to stop treating such human problems as being gender specific and address all people who have problems regardless of their sex.

Making such human problems gender-specific does indeed create a gender rift and that’s totally unnecessary.

Women and men mostly have the same problems. Money, food, housing, disease, natural dangers etc. That's why it makes no sense to cater society to women and ignore men. Both have these problems to deal with and both need support.

Women do have many issues to deal with these days. HOWEVER, the vast majority are self inflicted. They seems to be driven to be “Independent women”. They think it will make their lives better, but eventually find out it makes them worse off. I’m not saying women should be slaves to men, or dependent on men. But the attitude that women adopt to be an “independent woman” makes them unbearable, even to other women. So it’s not the ACT of being an independent woman, it’s the ATTITUDE.

Women truly don’t know why men sexualize women and won’t commit. You tell me, when TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and OnlyFans are full of women sexualizing themselves. Ladies, We are simply following your example.

Feminism has sold women the lie that you can be a career woman AND a family woman. When women try, the slowly realize it’s not possible, as their just isn’t enough time in the day. But because women see other women on social media (fake) making it work, they try to stick with it and burn themselves out.

Let’s not forget how the majority of women are alone because they can’t find a “decent” man, but fail to realize they are aiming too high. 4s are out here aiming for 8s and 9s, and can’t understand why they can’t catch a good dude. It has to be a truly lonely existence, but it’s one they are volunteering for.

Based on both my experience and particularly that of my wife, the biggest problem women face in the developed world is being told constantly that they're going to face horrible prejudice and discrimination when they aren't, at least not to anything like the extent people claim. That's causing them to self-select out of things they want to do which is an absolutely tragic betrayal of the entire progressive project. I could give you a dozen examples.

The other risk is that identity politics makes people - particularly members of visible minorities and women - into abrasive, defensive, snappish amateur sociopaths who constantly harbour suspicion about almost everyone around them. That's something that will tend to limit their personal success in a way that they're likely to interpret as being the direct result of the prejudice they've been told to expect. It's a vicious circle.

Naturally there are still plenty of places in the world where women really do face a lot of direct prejudice and unpleasantness and they deserve our unwavering support; I notice that the hard core of mainstream western feminism often doesn't take a whole hell of a lot of notice of that, possibly because they aren't very well-informed, well-travelled or because a lot of it is in the USA and Americans are (sorry, but it's true) not very international in outlook. It's possibly also because critical social justice in general is often being leveraged as an excuse for some very normal, very predictable, extremely unimaginative garden-variety selfishness and narcissism, and the people who claim the loudest to be operating on behalf of other people are often the least willing to actually do so.

As a lot of people have said, menstruation is unpleasant and I think in the twenty-first century it's slightly embarrassing to humanity as a society that we haven't worked out a mitigation for it. I know women who will unblinkingly describe it as "horrible," "like being forced to piss yourself with blood," all the while feeling slightly unwell, and complain, with justification, about the fact that at least sometimes there are several days a month when it's hard to operate at full effectiveness. Doesn't affect everyone the same way, of course, and I've equally met people who shrugged it off, but I think if there was some sort of medication which stopped it happening - reversibly, of course, and crucially without side-effects - it'd be the wonder drug of the millennium. There are, of course, already things which will do that, but the side effects are not something most people find worthwhile.

This is just a very general question which inevitably would lead to a pointless, aimless and unproductive conversation. Literally a waste of time. Unless of course you are a troll and that is your aim in the first place.

Anyway, One of the major problems faced by women in modern day developed countries in my opinion is the rampant objectification and commercialization of women. This in my idea has actually gotten worst in the recent decades compared to the past. For certain reasons however It is not even noticed and acknowledged by our Sex obseeded society.

There are problems which women face, some namely : 1. Harassment and general safety issue. 2. Lack of medical attention, sometimes in childbirth situations, most likely to affect poorer women. 3. Men counterparts are likely to be promoted more, not because they are men (lol) but because women are mostly taught speaking up or loudly is a crime, and louder people tend to get noticed first. Even shy men or introverted men get passed over due to this reason. 4. In 2nd and 3rd world countries, crime against women done by close relatives (even by women) are mostly likely to be swept under the rug. 5. Female Genital mutilation is still an issue. 6. Again, in developed or developing countries, young girls are not given reproductive knowledge, owing to stigma around sex (I should know, I am from one). 7. Lack of female role models in not well known fields (like comp sci), which leads young girls to think the field is not for them, or tend to gravitate toward media defined film stars, which I dont object, but very few actress have any real skills, most are hired for their looks. Essentially you learn to throw your brains for your looks, leading to the age old "objectifying women" charge.

I missed a few Ig, but mostly the burning issues are these. I'd like to help and solve some, which are under my control, but honestly being seen as a "not a creep" instead of a genuinely caring human is really hurtful. Not to mention, people think right is something that is turns based - while we work on women rights, men can go neglected for the time being. Honestly, I've tried, but Idk I will anymore.

Speaking of western/first world I can't really think of any women specific problems. Not that all women necessarily have it on easy street, but most problems either aren't gender specific (such as being victims of assault) or it's a con that has a corresponding pro that kind of cancels it out. For instance women can get hired just because they are women. So a problem a woman might have is people not being sure if she's actually qualified or if the company just needed to hire a woman, but the con for competent qualified women is canceled out by the pro it provides for unqualified women.

Scrolling through some of the other comments I don't really see any women specific problems. Things like sexualization; men are not only sexualized as much if not more than women, but society often condemns sexualization of women but not men. Sexual assault? Again, this happens both ways and while many VERY biased studies like to show women as victims and men as perpetrators, unbiased studies using gender neutral terms put this a lot closer to even, and again women's problems are taken seriously where as men's are not. Most so called problems are like this. Not saying they aren't/can't be a problem for women, but it's not a women specific issue and at that point you might as well post a general question what are some problems for modern people.

For legitimate inequities or problems, I’m sympathetic. For example, they should have the right to abort and contraception (but just because you have that right, I’m not in favor of it being funded by the community).

But there’s some things that should be ‘’equalized’ by men and women. If women can have maternity leave, Men should too. If women can opt to abort, a man should be able to opt out of financial support if he didn’t want the baby. If a woman opts to divorce a man, but cannot financially support it, then the man should be given the choice of custody or child support, it shouldn’t be decided by a judge. There’s so many changes that need to be made to accommodate this modern progressive society, but right now it’s just ridiculous in the west.
