So by the same logic a woman needs to ask permission to use anything of mine or enter my home or any individual rooms no matter how many times i have allowed it.

so if we are living together and she wants to use my cutlery she must ask everytime in every use even if we have been living together 10 years.

First of all, all the examples in this comic are clearly wrong...and so is rape. I don't know if they are that fucking retarded (it's the only way to say this) and really believe that men in general think rape is okay.

Don't know if anyone caught it, but they are reversing the gender nouns to infantilize men by calling them "boys" and calling women "women". I have a sneaking suspicion that isn't a mistake.

Regardless of what your views on the supposed morality or ethics of telling women how to avoid rape it seems infinitely easier than attempting some mass indoctrination of the male gender to not rape (their implication is that males are naturally rapists).

Consent is not all equal. One consents to being photographed or filmed by leaving their own property. We don't apply the same standard to rape, or nearly anything else. We have all sorts of different standards for all sorts of different things.

I actually thought the comics were very well done, and I particularly liked the fact that they didn't try to say "any time you have alcohol it's rape", because that shit drives me nuts.

But way to take a pretty decent, informative comic, and turn it into "teaching boys not to rape". Fuck Huff-Po.
