First: sorry you’re going through this man. That’s some grade A horse hockey. Let me know if you want to talk. That being said -

Some people are about equality, some aren’t.

Of those that are about equality, they’ll still do unequal things if equality means they won’t get what they want (I.e a woman that professes equality, then hoses over her ex husband in divorce court to not lose sole custody of her kids.)

Moral of the story: people are vast and diverse. Do your best to avoid the ones that are selfish and use equality to enrich themselves, and find ones that do hold themselves to true equality.

The reason is because women, in general, believe they are automatically better parents. If you don't believe me, ask 10 women you know if mothers or fathers are better for children.

Because rather than actually acknowledge the faults / biases inherent within the system and work to overcome them they would rather sit around and condescendingly say "When fathers actively fight for custody, they get it in 60% of cases"

Which of course is absolute bullshit and is pure and simply gaslighting tactics to try and make it seem like custody isn't as big of an issue as men claim it to be.

Same thing with false rape accusations or many other issues men bring up.

The default position is to undersell / make it seem like men are exaggerating the situation and then to proclaim that it "Really isn't that bad"

I got into an argument with a feminist group on Facebook. It all ended rather bizarrely because, after I told them I was disgusted with the way my ex was allowed to lie in court and totally get away with it, that because I expected equality it made ME a feminist. Even though I wanted my ex punished for her lies.

I do actually kind of understand their logic..I don't think they were actually too impressed with her behaviour.

Because it’s not about equality. It’s about equality in the ways they perceive they’re unequal, but keeping all the ways they know men are unequal. In the end, it’s about superiority, and they seem to be achieving it.

It sucks, sorry your going through it. Same in Texas. I've fought for years and finally got 50/50. I'm working on primary now, Son is 13.

It's about $$. I still pay child support on 50/50.

My son is pleads to live with me. Mom is fighting it. The reason is "she can't afford to lose child support."

Good luck man, look after yourself. It's hard to keep a positive mindset, but eating right and working out helps.

The way we can campaign to help men in the courtrooms is to have more female judges. studies have shown that the higher percentage of female judges the more equal sentencing etc. Is between the sexes!
